Being a demi god is hard. Most kids have enough trouble pleasing their parents as it is, but it's even worse for us. Our godly parent doesn't care about us unless we bring them fame and glory. Our accomplishments have to be amazing, like killing a dragon with our bare hands. I remember when I was six, and had won first place in a pie eating contest. I was excited because my mother had told me that to live in Olympus, a demi god must be a hero. And to be a hero, my father once told me, you have to win. So, I thought that by eating the most pies, that I'd just be welcomed into Olympus. Imagine my surprise when I had the door slammed in my face.
My name is Lyanna Storm. I'm 15 years old and the daughter of Hades, the Greek god of death. My mother fell in love with him when she was 19 years old and then they had me. It was too bad that he didn't love her. When the Evil Queen Regina set the curse that brought us all to Story Brooke, my mother was left behind. She had gone to collect herbs and I haven't seen her since.
Ross, one of my best friends, nudged me, "Stop moping. I know you're the daughter of death, but you should enjoy life! There's a sandwich on your plate, adventures to be found, and a handsome prince to prank with."
"You're the son of Hermes," Lily rolled her eyes, "Not a prince."
"He's not handsome, either." Carter laughed, earning an apple slice in the face from Ross.
"Shut up, Snow. We can't all inherit good looks from Aphrodite." Ross scowled, sipping his drink.
Carter flicked some crumbs at Ross, "Just because I'm good looking, doesn't mean you aren't."
Lily stood up, collecting her things, "I'm going to the computer lab. Ms. Liddell wants me to help her program this new robot she got."
"I'll go with you. I won't be much help, though." Carter stood up and walked away with Lily.
Ross scoffed, "She's such a Hephaestus kid, amiright?"
I smiled, "So, Rossy, what do you want to do?"
Ross smirked, leaning forward, "Do you solemnly swear that you are up to no good?"

Seven minutes of protesting late, Ross and I stood across from Henry Mill's locker.
"As long as everything goes to plan, this'll be awesome." Ross schemed.
"Who's gonna plant it?" I asked.
"Dibs on not doing it!" Ross laughed, running away and leaving me with the stink bomb.
I rolled my eyes, striding up to the locker and carefully picking the lock. As soon as it opened, I shoved the stink bomb into the locker. As soon as I turned around, I was met by Henry Mill's himself.
He blinked at me, "What are you doing?"
"Wrong locker..." I smiled, "Oops."
As I walked down the hall, I counted the seconds until the stink bomb would go off.
3, 2, 1...
"Run." Ross laughed, pulling me down the hall way and into our next class.
We sat in our seats, breathless and giggling.
"Do you think he'll tell the mayor on us?" I laughed.
"Hopefully not." Ross smirked, "Look who just walked in."
I turned to see Henry entering the classroom, scowling at Ross and I. I innocently smiled while Ross cheerfully waved.
"Now, class, turn your books to page 394. We'll be learning about facilitated diffusion!"
