JUNOIR IN HIGHSCHOOL
My hands shook as I unlocked my locker. I sighed and placed my books on the small rack. I grabbed my English binder and shut the metal door.
My feet dragged through the almost empty hallway. I placed my hand on the door nob, I pushed the door open and got stares from the students who were already in their seats.
I tossed my books on my desk and sunk down in my seat. The teacher also known as Mr. Hopkins walked in, he was my favorite teacher.
"Good morning, class." He enthused, "we normally don't have exciting news this early in the term, but we have a new student joining us." He ushered some kid up to the front.
The kid himself was adorable, his brownish hair, his blue hoodie made his eyes stand out. I smiled to myself, as Mr. Hopkins said his name.
"This is Séan Mcloughin, but he prefers Jack." He said. I liked the name Sean, it fits him. That's when he spoke up, "I moved here from Ireland." He spoke quietly. His accent was very prominent, I liked it.
"Why don't you take a seat by Mr. Fischbach" he said pointing to me. My face flushed red, as he placed his stuff on the desk next to mine.
"Hey what's your name?" He whispered. "M-mark" I stuttered. He smiled and focused his attention to the board.
I looked over and he was holding out a tint slip of paper, I took it and unfolded it.
Nice to meet you M-mark
