She's not as happy as she seems,

as her bad memories always invade her dreams

She smiles, but no one knows..

that upon her pillow, so much tears would flow

In front of everyone she has to pretend,

that she's happy..when all she wants is put her life to an end

Her soul is haunted by despair,

as everyday for her.. resembles a nightmare

She just wants to find an escape,

from what she sees in the mirror,  from her ugly shape...

People laugh at her for being so quiet

but they don't know.. she' s just trying to hide her tears from sight

To her, everyone is being so cold

and she feels that she doesn't belong to their world

She feels so tired..and sick of it all

and she has no one,  to catch her when she falls

They don't know what she's been through,

They don't know that her happy face, is far beyond being true

She's only wearing a mask,

and keeping it on her face, is such a painful task

She waits till she's all alone,

to take off her mask, and cry on her own

There's no one to wipe her tears,

There's no one to make her doubts clear

So she decides to put an end to her pain,

and the blade of the knife cuts through her veins

As her life flashes back before her eyes..

All she sees is tears, pain, and empty lies,

of a cruel world that could never understand...

those who suffer like her, and never get a helping hand
