All she's ever known is fight

Chapter one

Luna's POV
I deafen out all the cheering going on around me as I walk into the place I've learned to call home.

I look around the cage looking for my opponent as my eyes lay on a dirty blonde, she's a Russian I notice almost immediately. I hate Russians cause oh do They like to fight dirty and I have the scars to prove it.

The announcer announces her name "slither". I try not to laugh but fail when I hear her name. (I mean what kind of name is that, snake or cobra would've been more creative but come on slither).

Those dirty bastards cheer her on but I barely hear it as I'm already used to it. I smirk as I see her face fall when she hears the crowd chanting my name obviously knowing who I am.

Like I do before all my fights I think about them, about how I was ripped from them without a reason behind it.

My family. I missed them so much. I doubt they even remember me though. It's been so long, I'm 16 now and it's Been 10 years since I last saw them.

They are the only reason why I'm still surviving here, I still have a spark of hope unlike the other girls that are obviously scared of me.

I'm not as bad as They think, I'm here for the same reason they are. Against my own will.

I'm brought out of my thoughts when I hear the bell ring, which indicates the fight has begun.

We circle each other As I wait for her to throw the first punch. Which she does of course. As I dodge the hit I start on my combo

Fake right

Double jab

Cross

Spark

Jab

Cross

Uppercut

I sing this in my head like a song on replay.

She almost looses her balance but regains composure. I notice something silver in her glove but don't pay much attention to it because then she starts to come at me.

I duck as she nears me and grab her by the legs then flip her over. Now I'm on top of her punching her as fast and hard as I can until I hear the satisfying sound of her nose breaking.

Blood starts pouring out of her nose so I get up and wait for her. I know she's dizzy I can see it.

I didn't notice when she grabbed the knife from her glove but I see her running at me and I feel a sharp pain throughout my abdomen knowing immediately what it was I grab it and pull it out already used to the pain. They taught me how to not feel pain I invite it in rather then rejecting it.

I go at her and put her in a choke hold but before I go any further I whisper in her ear "I'm so sorry please forgive me" and she nods In understanding. 
"Hey do me a favor and rest in peace." I say to her. She chuckles and says "Oh trust me I will."

I looked over at my handler who was already telling me to finish her off. I then sliced her throat, I had an emotionless face as I watched her lifeless body Fall to the ground. Unmoving.

Right away the room erupted into cheers and bets were being passed back and forth. The smell I have grown so used to of smoke and alcohol roamed in the air, As I walked back to my handler.

When I reached him he gave me a satisfied smile as he counted the money he made from the bets.

"Your my lethal weapon, you know that right?" Said Trevor (A.K.A my handler). He acts like I care he isn't the one that's had to make so many sacrifices. "Yes I do you've said it plenty of times, when's the next fight?"

"Feisty aren't ya, and you'll know when I tell you" he replied with a smirk. I'm so disgusted by him and everything he's done to me I want to see him 6 feet under ground.

I just stayed silent knowing that if I said something i'd pay for it. Out of nowhere he grabbed my face and kissed me. I felt bile come up at the back of my throat. I didn't respond instead I pushed him off of me.

"YOU CAN USE ME TO FIGHT AND MAKE YOU YOUR MONEY BUT YOU WILL NOT LAY A HAND ON ME LIKE THAT AGAIN!!!"I yelled at him obviously disgusted by his actions.

"Oh honey I can do what ever I want with you. I OWN YOU!" He said as he grabbed my hand and dragged me to the abandoned warehouse and threw me in my room.

"The only reason I actually stopped is cause I have a new toy to play with, but I won't stop next time" he said with a perverted smile.

HA! There won't be a next time

Cause this time tomorrow you won't own me anymore...
