The Visitor

Chapter 1

Music booms through my EarPods as I sit in bed, eating chocolate, as I normally do on a Friday night home alone.

I'm browsing through my YouTube home page, looking for a good video to watch.. but there's nothing there that seems to tempt me. So, as I do most other nights, i switch over to my trusty ol' Netflix.

Suddenly a snapchat notification pops up at the top of my screen, "from Kayla".
I go into snapchat and open her message. As usual, It's just a silly selfie saying "hi :)". I giggle to my self at the picture.

I'm just taking a photo, to reply to her with, of my dog Rocky (sleeping) when i realise the flash is on. He quickly opens his eyes and I feel kinda bad. I've just woken him up. I send her the picture anyway (as she loves him), and type "hey :))".

I go back to Netflix and, after taking forever to decide what to watch, I eventually decide to put on Mean Girls.
I know I've watched it about 5billion times, but it's my favourite movie ever!

Around half way through the movie, another snapchat notification pops up, except this time..it's not from Kayla, or anybody I know..

"Rob4322 has added you as a friend!"

I have no idea who this is, so I quickly click into snapchat and hit '+add'.
"Who are you?" I say to him in chat, not too nervous, as it's probably someone who just got the username wrong. I mean, there is quite a few Lauren Kenny's in my school.

Within seconds I get a message from him. It's of my house, and it's not just any picture of my house, it's one that was just taken. I can tell by the light coming from my bedroom window, and the two cars of my parents that are gone off the work.

My hands tremble and my palms start to sweat as I write the next few words.. "Who are you.."

And yet again, within seconds I receive an answer..
"I'm your biggest fan...
A picture shows up what seems like just milliseconds later..
..it's of my back door.
The caption sends a shiver down my back.

...and I can't wait to meet you"
