The odds of dying in a plane crash are 1 in 300,000. The odds of being abducted by a stranger? 1 in 600,000. Wow, that means that a child is more likely to die in a plane crash than get kidnapped by a stranger. Unfortunately I happen to be one of the 600,000 people that have been abducted by a stranger. When? and why? I would have to start from the beginning for you to understand.
It was around fall on Friday, October 17 2006, is when I i recived a letter containing my acceptance letter to the university of California, my new life began. I got on the plane to attend college far from my parents. Now I've been on this plane for 5 hours waiting for the 20 minute warning for my landing. My close friends, Shell, celly and Chantel have been waiting for me. Shell is the complete opposite of me, loud and annoying but very smart and a understanding person. Celly other hand, is my pretend girlfriend, caring, loveable but stubborn and Chantel buys food for me when ever I need it in my system and is a dependable person, also very good at giving advise.
"I wonder how long they have been waiting?" I Said mentally. Turns out they've been waiting for 4 hours, I guess they were very excited to see me and to know that I'm finally living here on the west coast, close to them. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have them, I would have probably been put in a mental hospital because my life would not be in order.
"5 minute warning till landing" the pilot said in the intercom.
"What! already I thought it was supposed to be 20 minute warning, but whatever then."
I sighed.
I put my seat belt and waited.
