Meeting Alice

I waited patiently by the trains carriages for my employer to make his appearance, he had told me to care for some twins who worked for the brotherhood, i was to tend to their needs and make sure nothing happened to them even though i knew we were roughly the same age i seen no problem with this. I had been a maid to many familys, all of whom were extremely pleased with my services. I heard feet approaching and haistily straightened my posture, "Alice! There you are! Allow me to introduce you, miss Evie Frye, Mr. Jacob Frye this is Alice your maid." "Our....what? We dont need to be mollycoddled greenie" "I'm not to mollycoddle you Mr. Frye, i will only attend to your needs, mend your clothes, cook for you, fetch you things must you need them and keep your artillery in perfect working order" i recited leaving out some information but im sure theyll figure that out soon "well erm...miss Alice? I appreciate all That your willing to do for us im sure your services will be very useful to us" Evie said kindly offering a warm smile which i gladly returned, i bowed to both showing my respect and lead them into the carriage, "Alice we'll need drinks can you get-" "of course Mr. Green" i gave a quick look around the room to its occupants making a quick note in my head of what i think they would like and went off to fetch it 'Mr. Frye's jacket seems a slight bit worse for wear and Miss Frye's knives seem slightly dulled' i placed two teacups of tea and a glass of whiskey on the tray before returning to the room, the rattling and swaying of the train never throwing my balance unlike most and the tray in my hand never tilted, once there i handed the glass to Mr. Frye and placed the tray before the other two assasins as they talked "your knives please m'lady" i said to Evie and she hesitantly placed them in my hands, i smiled at her reassuringly and held them with care before turning to her brother "sir may i mend your coat?" I was still unsure of him and didnt want to offend him so i had asked in the softest of tones, he stared at me for a moment studying my face before slowly removing it and handing it to me, his eyes were intimidating but also quite captivating. I smiled softly before bowing to both and exiting the room i began sharpening the knives first untill they were as sharp as i could get them before moving onto the coat.... dear lord i had my work cut out. I began stitching the seems together and fixing any tears that had made themselves present, it took me a while but before too long i had successfully mended the old tattered coat, gathering them carefully i began the walk from my quaters (which might i add were next to Jacobs) back to the carriage, i entered quietly, no one noticing me until Henry seen me "oh Alice i didnt see you there" this caught the twins attention as they spun to see me standing there, coat and knives in hand "i apoligise for intruding but im finished" "i can see that" Mr. Green chuckled before gesturing me to enter more, i placed the knives in Evie's awaiting palm and watched nervoisly as she marvled at their sharpness before smiling and giving her thanks, i then held the coat out to jacob to which he took it somewhat cautiously, he inspected it before smirking 'i dont think ive ever thought a smirk could compliment a person but it seems i stand corrected' "nice work i must say little Alice...nice work indeed" he smiled that boyish smile, it was infectious "Alice would you like to accompany us to see-" "Mr.Bell? Yes it has been some time since ive seen him" "sharp as ever" he chuckled but my intercept in his sentence had both twins looking at me suspiciously "oh....i apoligise for my rudeness" "no...worries" Evie said cautiously now. On our way over for some reason Jacob insisted on travelling with me, "sooo... Alice....exactly how do you fit into the creed? I mean i know your a maid but do assassins really need extra hands?" "I was raised in much the same way as you were mister frye, my father was a strict man who followed the creed very closely, so closely he could likely have created it himself. But I trained to be a maid and disciplined into following the orders of my masters or mistresses." "I see...and your mother?" "She was a very beautiful woman but i only met her once before she vanished" "ah..." "but thats in the past now, both of them, so i asked the brotherhood to give me a reason. A purpose .... they did and i dont regret it" i said before locking eyes with the taller man. Just then i seen a dark purple coat walking towards me, the man bumped my shoulder and passed me the note secretly before tipping his hat to me and apologosing "now im looking around im seeing quite a few people with that colour on...hm...wonder who they are?" Jacob asked as we arrived at bells establishment, "those are the ghouls" Henry interjected "theyve been keeping the blighters at bay, their numbers are small but theyre all specially trained by their boss" "sounds like my kind of guy" after saying that both henry and i let out a small laugh causing both twins to look at us in confusion "whats so humourous?"
