Everyday, I go to school. Then, I come home, do homework, eat dinner, sleep. And that's it. It's all I do, all I ever do everyday. It's a neverending cycle of just plain boring. I needed a change, I want a changed.

And then I got it.

I heard the beeping of my alarm telling me to wake the hell up and woke me up it did. That little fucker is loud as hell. I jolted awake like every boring morning and went to my closet. A blue flannel and black skinny jeans? Has me written all over it today.

I know what you're thinking. "Chandler, of course you're clothes represent you, it's your damn closet". I'll have you know that that flannel sits in the back of my closet. I hardly even wear it. Usually I wear all black like my bland soul. But today was "Change Day". So, yeah.

I put on those closer and slipped on socks, and laced uo my black combat boots. Predictable, right? I went to the bathroom, tried my best to fix my mess of brown hair I had and brushed my teeth. Oh my god, bet you definitely weren't expecting that! Yeah, I'm a sarcastic ass.

I slightly paced down the stairs and sat at the breakfast table to be greeted by waffles and eggs. Fun fun. No, it's not. It's what I eat everyday. I've eaten it so many times, I've practiced eating it fast to catch the bus. So gobbled up the breakfast I did and pranced out the door, not even giving a simple hello to my mom.

I waited patiently at the bus stop and rocked on my heels. Just as I saw the bus swing a right down to my street, I remembered something. My damn backpack. I raced inside my house and ran up the stairs, swinging my bedroom door open. I spotted my backpack sitting next to me bed. I ran over and grabbed it, slinging it over my shoulder, I raced out the door, slamming it shut behind me. I ran back down the stairs and out the front door, not even bothering to close it. And, just as you probably predicted. I watched as the school bus pass my house and make a left at a corner.

Fuck. Me.

I started my walk to hell, ahem, I mean school at adjusted my flannel from all that running. Soon enough, I stopped at the steps of my school. I entered hell to see the halls mostly empty besides that pot heads that skipped class. And they think they're slick.

After climbing the many of stairs that probably dropped a few pounds from me, I proceeded to head to my class room. But right as I reached the top of the stairs, I heard a ding. That ding that said "You're late. Try not to forget backpack, dumbass".

I moped the halls until I reached the door of my classroom. As I entered, all eyes were turned to me. Especially Miss. Brooke who proceeded to shoot me a death glare for being 2.2 seconds late to her boring ass class.

"Uh, sorry", I started. "I missed the bus and--"

"Shut up, Chandler", said James, a popular jock who I proceed to hate. "Just go ahead and take your damn seat. No one cares to hear your story"

I nodded and walked over to my desk and plopped down, continuing on with my hellish day.

As I walked out of the school, I was walking down the steps then the next thing you know, I was kissing the ground. I heard laughing as I looked up at James and his little clan of minions.

"Oops", he said then proceeded to laugh his ass off. I was about to get up before I felt a pair of arms wrap around my left arm and pull me up. I face to face with a girl with olive eyes and hazelnut colored hair.

"Man, those guys can be jerks", she said as she walked me away. "Anyway, what's your name?", she asked.

I hesitated at first. "Uh, Chandler", I managed to get out.

"Nice name", she said. "I'm Ashli"

Hi. New story. Uh, read it. And if you're a lovely person, vote. And if you're in a very good mood, follow me. Yeah, thanks. By, my friends.
