My life had forever changed when Cala was born. I found a purpose in that girl, Aster wasn't exactly happy about it. You see, Aster is my Queen. It's Traditional that I have three wives, so when my mistress gave birth they were more than a little surprised. My father was outraged, and refused to meet Cala. You may be confused, how on earth am I king if my father is still alive? My father is a different kind of ruler, he was not technically a king. He, his brother Christian, and his sister Spirit all ruled over the same land. I had long ago rebelled and built my own kingdom. Chaos should never be suppressed, I encourage and embrace it. My philosophy is that without the bad, you would be incapable of understanding the good.
"Come back to bed Lu," Amayliss put a gentle hand on my arm, she was the youngest and most naive of my wives. I looked over at the huge four-poster bed, I could see the naked silhouettes of Aster and Allium through the gossamer drapes. I stroked back a strand of Amayliss's silver hair and stared deeply into her stormy grey eyes.
"In a moment darling," I murmured and looked at the blood red moon. Her arms wrapped around my waist and she sighed contently. I kissed the top of her head and made my way to the bed. I slipped in next to Aster and Amayliss crawled in after me. I wrapped my arms around the both of them as I closed my eyes.
