Even If Forever Doesn't Work

"Liam?" A familiar voice asked.

I turn and I wish I hadn't.

"Janice!" I faked. "How are you? It's been... Long." I hug her.

"You never called me." She says.

I don't want to seem like a jerk but this chick is obsessed. She stalked me for like a whole year until I went to drama school.

"So, when did you arrive." She said flirtatiously.

"An hour ago." I said.

"So? Do you wanna go out." She drawled out every single word so long.

I notice Richard looking at me from afar smirking.

"Save me." I mouthed. He wiggles his eyebrows and mouthed. "Leave it to me."

He walks giddily to me, wraps his arms around my waist and rests his head on my chest, completely ignoring the woman's presence.

"Hubby! Thank you for the candies!" He tiptoes and kisses my cheek.

I'm in deep crap.

He turns to notice Janice. He turns up to me and asks, "Who is she?" Even adding a pout.

"Oh this is Janice." I say acting, going with what he was doing.

"Hi Janice, I'm Richard, Liam's boyfriend." My heart fluttered. I never knew it would feel that great to hear it.

Janice shakes his hand skeptically. I was frozen. 

"Oh, I didn't know you were bisexual, Liam." She says, still in shock. "I'm gonna have to go. It was nice meeting you both, congratulations, you look cute together." She blurts and left quickly.

His arms were still around me. My tummy was all stiff and I was still frozen in place.

"Hey, hubby!" He teased.

He untangles himself from me and I wish he didn't. His arms just felt so good around me. I wanted to wrap him in mine too.

He was laughing his ass off after I told him about Janice. He says he couldn't believe she bought it.

Neither did I.

We went back to the flat, because it was getting colder and the night was falling upon the town.

We started getting ready for bed.

I went to the kitchen for a glass of water when he comes rushing.

"Uhm, can we share a bed? I'm not used to sleeping in others people's houses." He says.

"Sure." I say nervously.

He's really gonna kill me.

I slid into the bed, burying myself in the sheets. He was already settled on his side. I was careful not to wake him. When I was comfy he started shuffling. He turns to me and smiles that adorable smile.
