to abhidnya, since she's my devi
a girl gazes up into the sky
but never a star catches her eye
she's only here to hide somewhere
places those people would never find her
but she is scared, for nothing is certain
'cause she is afraid and a little insane
yet they don't know about this disease
crawling into her brain with so much ease
she's infested with their thoughts
see how light and darkness fought
they are opposites, they should attract
but when is anything ever on track
the girl is distraught, let me free
those who brought forward emotion,
they bind her to sleep
finally, she will have to b e s e e c h
and they will make her l i s t e n.
