Louusy piece of dirt.
I kicked the floor of the alley beneath me in anger. The rustled sounds of junk food wrappers and shards of broken glass flew in the air like confetti.
I was casted out for being a monster. Unwanted be the people who created me. Now I'm left alone in the slums of a city that I forgot the name of with the monster that I can't even control.
The coughs of the homeless brought me out from my thoughts. I watch as they hold their clothing closer to them to keep their warmth from escaping. I pity them really, they don't have a warm house to wake up to or food to eat on a daily basis.
I past by them on my own stroll to no distinct path. there is one homless in particular that caught my eye. it was a little girl shivering in her thin little hoodie and wind burn on the tip of her cheeks and ears.
I take off my thick black cotton pullover and slid it on her.
" You can either use it as a pillow, or to keep you warm. You can also use the hood as a pillow if you'd like." I continue to walk away until I felt a tug on my shirt. I turned aroud and saw the girl with her eyes filled with warmth and joy.
"Thank you." I was about to say something when a gust of wind appeared, I caught her scent and my head began to pound.
I shrugged off her tiny grip and ran. I can feel my incisors sharpen and the senses of my nose and ear heighten. I need to find and empty building. I know there is a building around here somewhere.
I break my way through the door while making a sad attempt to place it back on the hinges correctly. My head pounds harder, causing me to lose balance . I can feel what he wants.
He wanted to taste them until they're dry.
He wanted to hear there screams waver into silence.
And most of all, He wanted to see the light and soul in their eyes to flicker and go out like a candle being drowned in it's own wax.
I restrain him and try to him contain. He fights with me for what seems like hours until he gives up. The last thoughts I had of myself was how much of a monster I am before the flood of relief wash over me and I drift endlessly in sleep that is more like unconsciousness.
Maybe I deserve this fate.
