"He told me that a year after I moved Melissa got pregnant and they moved in together. Now they have four two year old son, they're also engaged and are getting married this fall. He actually asked about you as well and he wanted to invite us to his wedding he said that he was glad he ran into me as my old number had changed. So he gave me a card"

I smile,"Well that's nice. Good for them. I'd love to see them again. I mean if you will take me?" I ask jokingly.

"Well...I'll think about it, have alot of people in mind!" Daniel says pretending to think with a grin plastered on his face.

I let out a chuckle,"Like who? Your mom?"

"No, someone special"

"Well...I'm ready if you want to take me"

Daniel smirks,"I'll think about it!"

"Listen Dan, I have to tell you something" I start.

Daniel looks up at me,"Yeah?"

"Yesterday, Mr Styles came to speak to me."

"What did he day? Why didn't you tell me yesterday?" Daniel asks with a worried look.

"Well I didn't want to, He offered me a job. To work as his assistant. He's offering me a very generous raise plus more benefits meaning insurance, probably a car too. This would be great for my professional life"

Daniel's face lights up,"Well that's amazing babe! See I told you that you'll be getting a promotion soon. You work so hard, you deserve it! Why do you look so down?" He asks.

"I'm not sure if I want to take it or not" I say while shrugging my shoulders.

Daniel furrows his eyebrows in confusion,"Why?"

"Well I like working here. Liam is the best boss anyone can ask for. I'm happy here, I don't like change!"

Daniel moves towards me and grabs my hand,"Well babe you won't work here for forever now will you? I mean this is an amazing opportunity for you. If you don't want to take it, it's all up to you but I feel like you should"

"It's just that Mr Styles is a dick and he's very arrogant. I don't think I can handle working with him for 12 hours every damn day!" I whine.

Daniel lets out a chuckle,"Well..if you really want this job. Then you will have to tolerate him."

"I guess.." I shrug.

"What did Liam say about the job offer?"

"He wants me to take it, he thinks it'll be good for me. He also said that if I didn't like it there he would be happy to give me my job back"

"Well see, you should try it out. I have a feeling it'll be good for you Sel!"

"Maybe."

"Where would your new office be?" Daniel asks.

"It's in downtown New York, near some place I forgot. It'll be closer to your office!"

Daniel smiles,"Well we can see each other more often?"

"If I take it, the job"

After about an hour Daniel left and I was exhausted after doing nothing the entire day. So I got into bed. This job will be good for me, I just have to learn how to tolerate Mr Harry Styles. You never know, he might actually be nice or something?

The next morning, it was a Sunday so I slept till 12:00 in the afternoon. After breakfast I pick up the card he gave me. I dial the number and put my phone to my ear. I take a deep breath.

After about two rings he answers, in his raspy British accent,"Hello?"

"Hmm, this is Selena Gomez"

"Oh, Hello Selena. Did you take my offer into consideration?"

"Yes I did Mr Styles. I accept to work as your assistant."

"I had a very strong feeling you were going to come around Selena. Even though I thought you'd take more time to think but this is all good"

"Uh-huh. When do I have to start sir?" I ask.

"Well Tomorrow is Monday so be there at the office at 8 am sharp" he says.

"Wait 8 am? Mr Payne lets me come by 9:30!" A automatically frown thinking about waking up so early.

"We'll discuss your terms and conditions later, for now show up at 8. It is your first day so you'll have to adjust as well."

"Okay." I let out a sigh.

"Well I look forward to seeing you tomorrow Selena! Goodbye" Harry says.

"Bye" with that I hung up.

I set an alarm for 7 am tomorrow. This new office is a good twenty minutes from my house. God! I don't want to get up so early!
