Chapter 25

Hermione's POV:

"Luna?" I asked.

She smiled.

"You're right." She said.

"Why are you here?" I asked.

"I needed a second job, so now I work here." She said, shrugging.

"How did you know it was me?" I asked.

She smiled.

"I can always recognize the face of a friend. However, I was more startled at the appearance of Ron." She said.

I snorted.

"Yea. He escaped from Azkaban." I said.

Her eyes widened.

"Why does he have you? And what happened?" She asked, looking me over.

I decided to pour out the story.

By the end, Luna had tears in her eyes.

"Oh, Hermione, I'm so sorry. I always thought that Ron was nice, but what has he become?" She asked.

At that moment, there was a pounding on the door.

"Hermione. What's taking so long?" He yelled.

I froze.

"Lady things." I eventually said.

"Ugh." Ron said.

I could hear his pounding footsteps move back to our table.

I let put my breath.

"So. Are you hungry?" Luna asked.

My eyes widened.

"Yes." I said.

"When was the last time you ate?" She asked.

I thought.

"Four days ago." I said.

Luna gasped.

"Wait here. I'll bring you some food." She said.

"Thanks." I said, slipping into a stall and locking the door.

A few minutes later, Luna came back with a plate of food.

There was a burger, chicken, salad, and a milkshake.

I devoured it all.

Once I was done, Luna pulled a napkin from her waitress apron.

I wiped my mouth and fingers.

"Better?" Luna asked, smiling.

I nodded.

"Thank you." I said.

"No problem." She said.

"Now. Should we call someone to come get you?" Luna asked.

"Yea. We should call Harry or Draco." I said.

"Alright." She said.

She pulled out a cellular phone and held it out to me.

I really hoped that Draco had his phone.

I dialed his number and waited.

Draco's POV:

The car was silent before my phone started to ring.

I picked it up.

It was another cellular number, so I answered.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Draco!" A voice replied.

I knew immediately that it was Hermione.

"Hermione!" I cried.

"Are you alright?" I asked.

"I'm fine. I'm with Luna." She said.

I smiled.

Of course.

Luna will always be there for Hermione, even in the oddest places.

"Where are you?" I asked.

She told me where she was.

I repeated it to Harry.

"Alright, Hermione." I said.

"Thank you, Draco." She said.

"I'll always be there."

Yay!

She gets Draco to come!

I won't be able to update tomorrow, I'm going camping.
