It was just another day. Not a great day not a bad day just a day. It would be a great day but there's this thing called school that I'm required to go to. Stupid law.
I groaned as I walked into the kitchen wearing black jeans, a white v-neck, black vans and a jacket. My mom was sipping her coffee while on her phone. I grabbed an apple from the fridge gave her a quick peck on the cheek.
"Bye mom," I said grabbing my bag.
"Bye Cam don't get into trouble!" She yelled back. I rolled my eyes and took a bite of my apple.

When I got to school I met up with a couple of my friends at my lockers. They were all in a very intense conversation.
"What are you guys talking about?" I asked as I popped my locker open.
"Just wondering why all the girls go to you. I mean look at Jake. He has good looks too. But he doesn't get any girls," Kaden Forelli said while pinching Jake Homes cheeks together. Jake pushed him off
"Guys it's all in the smile. I can guarantee it. Jake is so awkward around girls he doesn't smile he looks fucking constipated. Here watch this ," I said. I looked at the ground and counted to three in my head. Then I leaned against the lockers and looked up showing them my award winning smile.
"Shit he's right," Kaden said to Jake without taking his eyes off of me. I laughed and shook my head.
"Now if you can nail that then you're all set. Here go start on some freshman. Like not cheerleader type but more ehh basket case type," I said slapping Jake on the back and pushing him toward a group of freshman girls.
"Seriously Cam? You're training your friends on how to pick up girls ?" Someone asked from behind me. I turned around only to see my best friend Delaney Payne standing in front of me arms crossed over her chest . She was wearing high waisted white shorts, a maroon crop top, a flowy cardigan and black vans. She curled her hair today and was wearing her natural makeup.
I shrugged. "Wait can I say. People wanna learn from the best," I said winking at her.
"Oh please if you were the best you would be all out of bait by now. But I can guarantee that you're going to find another girl soon," she said shaking her head.
"Okay 1st I'm not a man whore, and 2nd why do you always seem to make me the bad guy?" I asked grabbing my books for the next couple of classes.
"Makes everything more fun!" She said winking I rolled my eyes and followed behind her as we walked to class.
"And shouldn't you be worrying about your own dating trouble? I mean you and Asher the asshole have been dating for 6 months now and everyone is talking about the heated argument you guys had at the coffeehouse the other day," I said. She groaned and threw her head back.
"Ugh don't remind me, and must you call him that? He's not an asshole. I don't even remember what the fucking argument was about," she said as we walked into 1st hour. She plopped down at a desk in the second row.
"Then why haven't you guys made up yet?" I asked. She shrugged and looked down at her textbook. This was her way of telling me to 'drop the subject or I'll be in a bad mood the rest of the day'. And I did drop the subject. For now.
