100 years ago, that was in the past. Levi and Eren were the last one's standing on their expedition. The titans were coming from all over the place.
Eren was still terrified when Armin and Mikasa died. Levi witnessed Erwins suicide and Hanji's death into the cavern.
Hanji discovered, right before death, that the cavern was producing titans. She leaned way to close and fell in. As well getting eaten.
Levi found a cave that they can hide in for the time being. He grabbed Eren and ran for it.
"L..Levi... We are going to die." Eren hugged him close.
"I know we are. And when we are reincarnated, will you marry me?" Levi asked as tears fall.
"Of course captain." Eren smiled as tears fell.
Levi kissed Eren and Eren kissed back for the last time.
"WE WILL KILL YOU ALL!!" Eren yelled and ran beside levi as the killed titans.
"Eren... I love you." Levi smiled and was caught in a titans grasp.
"I love you to captain." Eren smiled to him and was eaten as well as Levi.
Their new selfs will never be the same.
