"I don't know, I mean I could work or... I don't know." I shrugged.

"What do you mean you don't know? You're not going home to family?" He asks skeptically.

"No," was all I said.

"Why?"

"I don't wanna talk about it."

"Ok, sorry." He puts off the subject.

We were sat in silence for a while. Watching the sun move to the edge of the horizon.

So dramatic Richie.

Liam and I started walking back to the apartment. The cold New York afternoon was upon us and I couldn't get more poetic about this.

I can't stop thinking about him. I mean what am u gonna do? I think I'm falling in love with him. And I hate it. I know where this is going to end. Me ruining our friendship and getting broken. Nothing ever works out for me.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Liam pipes up.

"Have you ever been in love?" I ask.

"I don't know, I mean how do you know when you're in love?"

"I'm not sure, but you know it when you are." I reply.

"Well I've never been then." He shrugs.

"Liam, I gotta confess something." I turn to him. We stop walking. I face him.

"Liam, I don't know if you guys know, but I'm... Gay." I said, closing my eyes, not ready for his reaction.

I felt a hand on my head. He ruffles it.

"It takes great courage to tell anyone that, we're ok, and we somehow kinda knew." He smiles.

"How?" I asked intrigued.

"That, my friend, is a secret." He says walking past me.

That night I confessed to both Edward and Danny. They were cool with it. It was like having brothers. They were the best.

The next day we were all at the cafe, where Danny worked.

"Hey, Eddie, how was your day last night? We really didn't get to talk about it." I say.

"Well, she was ok. She was too onto me." Eddie says.

"Says Mr. Desirable." Liam scoffs, which cracked me and Danny up.

"Yeah yeah, you guys are funny. At least I'm getting dates." Eddie said.

Then this guy suddenly comes to our table. He looks at me and says, "Hey, I can't seem to stop myself from coming over here." This guy was cute and tall.

"Hi, what can I help you with?" I ask.

"Well, your name would be a big help."

"It's Richard." I say.

"A name as beautiful as its owner. I'm Chandler." He shakes my hand. "Say, do you have any plans for tomorrow night?"
