It was a nice day out on the beach with my father and a few family friends. There were tons of people everywhere; children getting sprayed with sunscreen, people lathering it on theirselves, setting up camp, surfing, all the stuff you would normally do at a beach. Nick and I decided to go looking for sand dollars and shells, since he's never been to the beach, or California to be exact. We had picked a bad spot, it was obvious we had. The rip tide was horrible. The waves were bigger than us. I wasn't as scared as I should've been, well not yet at least.

It had been thirty minutes of searching for sand dollars until I finally found one, a big one too.
"Allie, look out!" He screamed to me.
I turned around only to be brought under the ocean floor. I tried to get out but only kept pulling me, scraping me across the sand and shells like I were some sort of toy used by a toddler. "Is this it?" I ask myself. It finally calmed down, I was far out though.
"Help!" I tried screaming. But no body came. Another wave formed drawing me across the ocean floor again. It was too much for me to handle, so I had then blacked out.

"Allie!" Someone called out to me.
"Allie wake up please!" I felt shaking.
"Come on, Allie. You still haven't met the people from the chat yet!" My eyes bolted open.
I was in the hospital room surrounded by my dad, Nick, Samantha (Nick's mom), Katie (one of my best friends), and Nicole (another best friend).
Katie and Nicole gasped as they saw me awaken, "Oh thank god you're alive." They say, overcome by joy and hugging me.
"I thought nobody would find me." I said sadly looking at the blanket on top of me. I sighed, "I called for help, but nobody answered. I thought that was the end. I thought I was going to die." Tears slowly started to fall down my face.
I looked up, only to see people I knew I wouldn't meet for a long time. I cried even more. Sophia went to hug me and I went to hug her. When our arms touched I had awoken in my bedroom.
"Come on, Allie. Get up, we're going to the beach today." My dad said as he exits my room.
I smiled and chuckled to myself, "This is going to be quite the interesting trip." I looked over at the huge sand dollar I had found yesterday.
