Liz

Running through that dark corridor scared the absolute shit out of me. It smelled horrible. I could hear his footsteps as he chased after me, probably to try and torment me some more. He was gaining on me, and quickly.

"Liz! Wait!" he half called, half pleaded  as he tried to catch up with me.  The desperation in his voice nearly made me stop and turn around to face him, but I couldn't stop. I refused to be his victim again.

Something warm grabbed hold of my arm and I screamed until I realised it was just his hand. I wanted to slap him, or kiss him. He was so close to me and it was so tempting. I knew neither would have a good outcome. If I kissed him he would think everything would be okay, but if I slapped him he would think that I never want to see him again. Neither of which is the case.

"Fricken Jesus Liz. Would you just let me explain?" he said, between breaths.

"No." I pulled my arm from his grasp and started to walk away.

"Fine!" He yelled before slamming his fist into the wall, "Fuck you!"

This stopped me in my tracks.

"What did you just say?" I asked, my voice weaker than I hoped it would be.

"You heard me, loud and clear."

I couldn't help but laugh at him.

"What? What is so funny?" he asked, confusion clear on his face.

"I..I don't know." I replied, trying to stop the laugh that was bubbling in my chest.

"Oh." He was silent as he looked down at the floor. This corridor might have been dark but it was easy to tell he was blushing. Gosh, why did he have to do that?

"Kile?" I asked, after the silence became too much for me to handle. I took a step towards him. When he looked up at me he seemed so innocent, vulnerable even. That was until he opened his big, egotistical mouth. As always.

"Why do you have to do this to me?!" he yelled. I was sick of being yelled at. I turned around and ran again.

"You have got to be fucking kidding me!" he yells and slams his fist into the wall again.

I didn't know if he was coming after me again, and I sure as hell wasn't about to stick around to find out.
