Arabella of Abigonia used to live a lavish life as a princess of the fairy people. The fairies usually kept to themselves, hidden from humans and protected from their enemies the werewolves. Each fairy had their own special powers, but the royal family were the most powerful of all fairies.
On one fateful night the kingdom had gone under attack by werewolves working with the fairy closest to the royal family. In her escape to protection Arabella's best friend Wade had been killed while she took the hand of a mysterious helper who transported her to a new land. There she stumbled upon a couple of teens who offered her help and shelter.
This leads to events in which Arabella has to work with what she fears the most.
