~ The King~
A long time ago
The royal palace
Physicians tower
" Vivian? Vivian, where are you?" The king yelled out desperately. Nobody has seen his wife or son for the past few hours.
Guards were flanking behind him as they made their way to the last place that has yet to be checked- the physicians tower.
They stormed up the stairs, and the King beat on the door. "Ross! Open up! It is your King!" He yelled.
After waited for a few minutes, he decided it was long enough. "Guards," he spoke " Batter ram the door on my count." He held up his hands so the guards would yield.
He then furiously waved his hand, and his personal guard charged at the door. It loudly fell off its hinges, and onto the floor.
As he barged inside the room, he saw one of the most gruesome things in his life.
His only son, laying on the floor- dead in a pool of blood. And His wife over him, crying. The king ran towards his Queen and took her into his arms.
He dared look down at his son, and broke down as well. The king heard a big whoosh sound, and looked up.
" Well look who we have here. A broken King, and his whore of a wife." The mysterious person spoke. Vivian gasped and buried her head further into the Kings chest.
The Royal guard surrounded them in a circle, with their weapons out stretched. They finally got a good look at his face.
"Funloure." The king spoke, venom lacing his voice. " You did this- this horrible crime to my son!"
Funloure just rolled his eyes. " Yes David, it was me." He didn't do anything else, but teleported of the room, muttering a few words.
King David and Queen Vivian sat there with their young prince who was taken from them so soon.
A few days later, Henry Platten was given a proper burial, and the whole kingdom mourned the loss of their crown prince.
King David was always known for his kindness, but not anymore. His heart was turned to stone, and he did one of the most unimaginable things- he outlawed magic.
Most of the world was filled and fueled by magic in that time, and having it be gone, it just started wars, and created rebellions.
The kingdom was In grave danger.
And that's where the history books end with the "story of magic"
Everyone says "it's just a myth." Or " it's a fairytale."
Let me just say, it's far from a fairytale or myth, because magic is completely real.
