Alistair's P.O.V
My eyes can't move from her hand. The string looked so withered and beaten. It didn't raise to the sky, to where her soulmate is. It hung limply by her side. All the color from it was drained as if it had no life. Finally I tear my eyes away from her pinky. I force myself to look up at her face and I notice she is looking at me too. I can feel my face heating up. Before I can say anything stupid, Mr. Brunswick clears his throat and we both look to him. "Like I said before please introduce yourself and I tell you where to sit." She blushes a bit and looks out to her new classmates. Standing tall, she starts to introduce herself. "Hello. My name is Amethyst Whitechapel and I hope we have a good school year together in homeroom." She gives a sweet smile and Mr. B tells her to take the only seat open. In the front of the room next to me and jasper. Even her walk looks like it's filled with purpose. She sits down and opens her first note book. Mr. Brunswick starts to teach us about how our schedules go.
Amethyst's P.O.V
I look at the door to my new start, my new homeroom class. I follow my new teacher into the classroom after his spiel with a student. He starts to introduce me and I start to walk in. People start to stare at me and I look around the classroom trying to relieve the feeling of being stared at. My eyes train on one thing in the room. A boy who looks like he has been through to much for his age. My eyes move down to his pinky finger and I see... Nothing.
There was no one waiting for him. My eyes move back to to his face and i look at his features. His eyes are a nice deep blue. His black hair falls in to his eyes a bit and I finally see where he is looking. He did the same thing that I did the first time I saw him. He is staring at my pinky. He looks up and his pale face started to turn red.
Ahem!
My new teacher, Mr. Brunswick, clears his throat. "Like I said before please introduce yourself and I tell you where to sit." I feel my face burn a little. All I can think is play it off. Taking a deep breath, I stand up straight and introduce myself."Hello. My name is Amethyst Whitechapel and I hope we have a good school year together in homeroom." I give a smile and my teacher tells me to sit next him. I walk over to my new seat to get out of the line of attention. I open my new notebook and start doodling. Mr. Brunswick's voice starts to drown out. The rest of class flys by and before it ends I look at my schedule. I have a free period next. The bell rings and I'm about to go a look around the school, but Mr. Brunswick calls me and a kid named Alistair to to his desk. I notice that the boy next to me gets up and walks up to his desk. Seeing this fills me with a little of determination to find out more about him."I looked over both of your schedules and saw that they are very similar. I'm so sorry for you, Amethyst. You have to spend most of your day with him. Nonetheless, I'm gonna put him in charge of showing you around. He is a sorta good kid." Alistair frowns at Mr. Brunswick and I can't help but chuckle. The black haired boy walks me outside. With an awkward smile he asks, "where do you want to go first?"
