The Wolf Experiment

The Experiment <Chapter 1>

Hello, My name is Cole woods. I am one of the most unluckiest people in the world. Yesterday, my life changed forever and I hope I never have to go threw it again. The day started just as every other normal day of my life...

"Mum! I'm going to school!" My mum couldn't help me because she had a horrible accident one day when I was little. I had ran into the road because I dropped my ice-cream and she was hit by a car. She broke both her legs and is stuck in a wheelchair now. She still loves me though and I love her. "Okay sweetie, be home by 10." She would always tell me this even if I would sneak out after ten a lot of the time. I walked to school just like everyday with my bad luck. I believe my bag got stolen by pigeons and my clothes were ruined due to a car splashing muddy water at me. Surprise, surprise I was late for school again.

I walked into school as usual when I noticed the science fair! Yet again, I had forgot my project so I had to join the nerdy Jackson for the project. He was doing his usual Bill board of experiments. This time it was all about wolves. Man you would think this guy was crazy! He had wolf hair, Skeleton structure, Actual bones, DNA samples and more in jars! "Let me guess Cole, 'forgot' your project again and want to join mine?" (you do not want to know how many times he has said this). "Yeah, so what do I have to do?" Man he hates me when I say that he just wishes I would do my own project on time. However, for once he had actually planned I would forget my project and gave me a wolf outfit. Normally I would laugh my head of but I had to where it!

We went threw the day as usual working on the project while doing classwork. I believe I got around 7 detentions for missing homework. It seems like even on weekends I have to have detention now! Later that day we had go to our chemistry class. Jackson had to work with me and George. George was ALWAYS messing around but would create awesome compounds! Jackson would sometimes go along with what George does because George always gets a B+ or more.

"George pass me the wolf hair," shouted Jackson. You don't know how loud Jackson can be! George added the wolf hair to the potion as Jackson said and it created a brownish potion. Being myself, I picked it up and looked at it from the  bottom. Then Bad luck strikes again! Jewel the scaredy cat screamed loud and I dropped the potion on my foot. I felt so weird... It was one of the most scary things in my entire life! Then... BOOM! the entire class room actually exploded! I think someone dropped one of the explosive potions we had made early that day. Everyone was dead... Everyone I knew. My mother, father and brother were at the school looking threw projects. I scavenged the rubble for all of them but they were dead with me having little injuries. Then I suddenly fell to the floor and felt a pain in my head and back. First my ears disappear and new wolf ones appeared on my head. Then I grew a tail! Man I would love to say it was AWESOME but it was a bit too fluffy.

The police came to the school and found me. They arrested me and locked me up in a cell. I believe after days in the jail cell I broke out using my claws. I had to run as far as I could. So that is what I did! I had left my life behind me and moved on to where-ever it would leave me. I picked up my diary which you are currently reading right now. Then I ran , fast as I could I managed to avoid the police.  I thought I was lost when I ran into the forest but instead I found a hidden civilisation with all types of creatures. I saw Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Wizards, Cat-people (I can't remember what they were called), Minotaurs, Mermaids, Angels, Demons and ALOT more! These people where like me! However, they were born this way unlike me... I then met this one girl (She was REALLY cute in my words). She welcomed me to the city. She grabbed my hand and dragged me around for a tour. Funny, nothing bad seemed to happen when I was with her. Could it all mean something? Was I meant to be like this?  Why me? These are all questions I need to find out. Looks like I've got to sign out my diary for my first day or else I'll end up in my first detention here!
