Artemis' P.O.V

The trees blur past in a cluster of greens and brown, making me feel like we are driving faster than we actually are. My music is at full volume, trying to block out my two older brothers in the backseat, and my baby sister next to me snoring up storm. My mom and dad are laughing in the front seat about something my brothers did when they were little. I continue to stare off into space, wishing we were at our new house already. I hated to move to a new town my senior year, although no one else seemed to mind. Dad got a new job in Bellemore, and Mom got transferred to the grammar school there. My brothers had both just graduated from college this summer, and decided to come back and live at home. How fantastic, not. My mother however thought it was a great idea since our new house was, apparently huge, and 'we have the extra room'. Thanks mom, what a great idea. They promised to help with Delilah, my baby sister. Thank god, at least I'm off the hook for babysitting 24/7. Daniel and Asher are at least good for something, other than annoying the heck out of me.

"Arti, Arti, Hey Artemis!"

"What?" I say surprised at the unexpected human contact.

"We will there in about an hour, and we've already picked out bedrooms for everyone, so no complaining, that goes for you too boys," said my mom, turning around to emphasize her point.

"Okay. Got it," I said turning my music back up, and staring out the window again, quickly closing my eyes and falling asleep. The melodic voice of Brendon Urie and the slight bumpiness of the road lulling me to sleep.

I feel the car come to a stop and my brothers slightly shake me to get my attention. I groan and mumble something along the lines of 'carry me'. Which earns a laugh because we all have to start to carry our boxes inside.

"Come on Arti, you've got to carry your stuff and so do we It's time to get up baby sister," Asher says poking me until a slap his hand away.

"I am not the baby sister anymore," I say pointing to Delilah who is still sleeping soundly.

"You will always be our baby sister, we just now have two," Asher said ushering me to get out of the car.

"Whatever." I say carefully unbuckling Delilah, and taking her out of the car.

I walk to the house, stopping to gaze up at the old architecture of the place, the big windows, and long pillars. It looked like a castle. My kind of place, I thought to myself, Fit for princess me. I laughed at that thought, making Delilah stir in my arms. I rocked her back and forth slowly encouraging her to go back to sleep. I turned around just as our delivery truck filled with all of the things we couldn't fit in the car. My mom quickly came outside, heading straight for the truck, which had Delilah's crib. I waited until the crib was unloaded, and followed my mother into the house until we reached Delilah's room. The crib was set down, and then my mom quickly took Delilah from my arms and set her down in the crib, tucked her in. Then rushed me out of the room, closing the door behind her, as if to keep out any noise that might wake the sleeping monster-, I mean baby.

I walked downstairs to see our living room furniture being brought into the house by two of the other delivery truck men. I went outside to our car to grab my duffel bag, along with a few miscellaneous items I had packed into the car. I walked into the house and started to climb the stairs when I realize, where am i going? Where the in the world is my room? I'd get lost and never be found if I decided to venture off on my own.

"Mom?!" I called into to the house, hearing a faint 'coming from some distant corner of the house. I waited on the stairs. until she appeared, a bit flustered.
