Chapter 5: confessing and heart breaking

Larrys p.o.v

Later on I just sat on a bench with several tears coming down my face, then I noticed Carrie trying to find me, once she spotted me she came over and said to me "look larry I'm sorry about what happened 10 minutes ago...".

"Carrie there's something I need to tell you.... I like like you a lot, and I was wondering if you would go to the dance with me..." I said.

Carrie stated to blush "look Larry don't take this the wrong way but I don't feel the same way about you I like you as a Best friend but not the way you do I'm sorry..." She said.

I just looked upset "o-o-okay, I understand friends still right?" I asked. "Yeah friends, sorry Larry" she walked away. I just started to cry when she left man I have never felt like this before.

Corey's p.o.v

In the garage Me and lanes were practicing, and kin and kon were doing weird twin things. when we were done practicing we were eating snacks "so core how are things with penny?" Lanes asked me. "Horrible" I said back. We both looked away from each other for a minute.

"so lanes how's life?" I asked. "Okay I guess." Laney said back. "So about the dance, I need to talk to you about that core..." Lanes asked me.

I gave a look at her "what is it?" I asked. "its happening" I thought, "core will you go to the dance with me?"
Lanes asked me.

I stood there in shock "but why?!?" I said. "Because I like you core...." Laney said. "But lanes I-I-" I said.

"I get it you don't like me back..." Laney said as she ran away crying. I've never seen lanes cry like that before. I stood there looking like I saw a ghost for 5 minutes.

Laneys p.o.v

I just ran away crying, I left core, not giving him a chance to talk then I got a text from Larry saying; "hey Laney can you meet me at the center of peaceville?"

I replied; "sure I will be there Soon."

I arrived 5 minutes later, Larry looked upset then he saw me looking upset " let me guess you confessed to Carrie?" I said. "Yep...Did you confess to Corey..." He asked me.

"yep." I replied "what did Corey say?" He asked me. "He said no..." I said with a single tear falling from my face.

"Same with Carrie..." He said. "Laney will you go to the dance with me?" He asked me out of nowhere.

I blushed "s-sure it will cheer us both up anyway" I said back. Me and Larry blushed and leaned in but then we stopped "I should get going now" we both said. We both waved and walked away.
