"I'm moving out."
His mother stared at him in shock.
He looked at her straight to her eyes, not regretting his decision. He was a fine boy, with dark brown wavy hair, he cut it short a while back. His determined hazel eyes looked down at his mother, cold and sad.
"But-" she sighed, understanding his reasons. "Marvin, you already have everything planned out don't you?"
"Duh, Mom."
Her dull gray eyes became shiny, and watered a bit at the thought of being alone in this house. Her hair had gray streaks, she hoped... She didn't know what to hope for anymore.
"I'll be leaving in three days."
