5 year olds having iPhones

Wtf why?? When I was five I had to beg my mom to get me one of the plastic ones and these kindergartners have iPhone 6s'? I still don't even have an iphone. The first phone I had was a blackberry ripoff, a pantech and I was 8 even then the only reason I had it was bc I was constantly at home alone and it only had 150 minutes and no texting. They have no reason to have a phone at such a young age. I shouldn't have had to stay home alone at that age but I live in the country anyways. Anyhow i just feel like its pointless for someone of such a young age have a 700$ phone. Another reason I had the phone was bc I was mature and responsible at a young age and my parents could trust me.
