Rain was pouring everywhere. In certain moments you would see lightening and hear thunder. It was like the world was upset, as if someone had just been lost and it would mean the world if they came back. Was that possible? No, it couldn't be. Its impossible to bring back the dead. The only thing you can do is wonder how their souls are, now that they are no longer on earth. And soon the overwhelming feeling of sadness starts to kick in...

-skip to about 11 months later-

She felt the cool breeze on the bottom of her tiny hairs. The sweat pouring down her face after the long run. And soon she would see the sun as it starts to rise and say hello to the world. It has been about 11 months since Ella's parents had died. After the tragic day, poor Ella feel into a great depression. She had longed for the day when she could feel any sort of emotion take over her body, but the only emotion she ever felt was sadness. She didn't even really feel sadness anyways since Ella got so use it.

It had been a strange morning for Ella since she had to wake up early to go see the sunrise. Ella had to first escape the house before they all woke up. And she had to be careful to not wake up the Ms. Elisabeth (she would be really mad if she caught Ella sneaking out). Ms. Elisabeth is the head care taker of all the children in the house. She is really kind sometimes, but most of the time she is really demanding and wants everything done her way. Its probably because of all the children she has to take care of.

When Ella was able to get past all the obstacles and make it out, she ran down the street and into the forest. She had found a great place to view the sun rise and she intended to make it. Ella thought if she could see the sunrise. She would be able to feel a little tiny bit of something...

Once Ella got to the place, she sat up against a tree and waited. Soon Ella was able to see the wonderful colors come into place and set in the sky as a small glimmer of the sun started to pop out of the hill's side. In a matter of moments Ella could see all the pretty colors of the sun rise. She saw the darkness of the blue night sky being taken over by the wonderful and happy colors of purple, pink, red, orange, and finally yellow. It as a wonderful sight indeed Ella was so pleased to be able to see this and she was able to feel a tiny spark of happiness come into her life again.

After that Ella become fascinated in color. She decided to go to the shop and by some paint. She had saved up about 100 dollars since she got to the home. It was not much, but she thought it would be enough to buy a couple of supplies.

Ella ran as fast as she could down to the shop and grabbed the cheapest paint, brushes, paper, and pencils she could find in the store. Ella went to the cash register with the supplies and stood stood in front of the lady as she was ringing up everything that was placed in front of her.
