Lucy Beale's scary story

Chapter 1- The wood Queen's letter

One day a very busy girl called Lucy Beale rushed outside to get the mail because she had a lot more chores to do. Inside the mailbox she saw a letter addressed to her form the wood Queen, Lucy opened the letter and it said:

Dear Lucy Smith I've heard that you're a very hard worker so come to my place to collect your reward don't be late to pick up your reward because it's a nice reward and you don't want to miss out on this reward Lucy! The wood Queen

All of a sudden Lucy ran inside to show her mother the letter but her mother knew that the woods are dangerous so she said "Lucy you are not going into the woods because you know that the woods are dangerous to be going alone because anything could happen to you." But Lucy didn't listen to her mum and later that day Lucy's mother asked her to go to the shop for bread, cheese and milk but Lucy didn't go to the shop she went to the wood Queen's palace instead but what Lucy didn't know is that the wood Queen tricks people to go into the woods so that she could kill them, that's the only reward that she gives people and she is going to do the same to Lucy that's why she wants her to go to her palace.
