Shae
While the box was going upwards, I started feeling dizzy. I wasn't used to being confined.
The noise was getting louder. I covered my ears to lessen the noise banging in my ear.
As the box stopped, I heard people talking. Once the box was opened, I collapsed on the cold floor of the box.
Newt
We opened the box, expecting another greenie. The minute we opened the box, everyone started to whisper.
"It's a girl." I told Alby. He looked shocked.
"Get her out of there and bring her to the Med-Jacks." He said. I followed what he said.
Once she was put to bed, I was assigned to look after her. My eyes started to feel a little heavy.

"No! Don't! Let me out of here!" I shouted.
"Hey. Hey. Calm down." A blonde told me. "Do you remember your name?"
"Yea." I said. "Where am I? What is this place?"
"Before I answer all of your bloody questions, the name's Newt. Second in command. How 'bout you? You gonna tell me your name?" He said.
"Shae. You can call me Shae." I said, shaking his hand.
"Hey Newt! You wanted to see me?" A guy who walked in said.
"Yea Chuck. Shae, this is Chuck. He's going to show ya where you'll sleep." He said. "Then tomorrow, I'm gonna give you a tour. You're going to try different jobs here, then the council will choose where you're good at then that'll be your job. Get it?"
I nod and followed Chuck out of the room.
"Oh and one last thing." Newt said. "Don't go in the maze."
We then left and walked towards the hammocks.
"So Shae, this is where you'll sleep. Tomorrow, you're going to try different jobs and the tour. Okay?" He said.
"Yea." I answered. "Thanks Chuck."
"No problem." He said then walked towards the other people.
I quickly grabbed a blanket and skipped dinner.
"You're never getting out!" Said a woman in a white coat and a blonde hair. I was surrounded by people in lab coats. One of them holding a syringe.
They held my arms as tight as they could and injected the blue fluid in my body. I saw people locked inside tubes with water. They were screaming. I couldn't see their faces clearly.
"No! Where are you taking me?! Let me go!" I shouted but they didn't listen. They threw me in the box and it started to move up.
"Shae wake up!" Said Newt. "Why were you screaming?" He asked. Obviously worried.
"I had this dream. But it looked like a memory." I explained. I told him every single detail I could remember.
"Don't worry. You'll be fine here. For now, let's get you something to eat. You skipped dinner last night." He said escorting me to the 'canteen'. We all ate in silence.
I tried jobs with the builders, with Gally. Cook with Frypan. And a lot more. Newt called me and told me to sit down. He told me that Minho will be coming to get me. Runner. The job that I wanted the most.
"Hey Shae. Come here." Minho said and I followed. "What you're gonna do is you're going to run around the perimeter of the glade. I'll be timing you for that. After, you're going to do core workouts. Chuck is gonna give you the list that you're gonna do. Is that clear?" He asked and I nod.
I started running around the perimeter. While I was running, my head started to ache but I shook it off. Once I saw Minho, my vision went blurry. I shook my head but it didn't go away. I heard screaming but it wasn't coming from anyone in the Glade.
I shook it once again. I reached the place where Minho and Chuck was waiting.
"15 minutes. Not bad." Minho said."Now do those workouts."
Once I finished the workouts Minho gave me, I walked towards the picnic tables. I saw a guy running from the maze. How come I didn't see him yesterday?
"Hey Shae. This is Thomas. I was about to introduce him to you when you fell asleep." Newt said. Thomas and I shook hands.

Time passed by fast and today, Alby was going to tell me what job I will take.
They asked me to sit outside the homestead while they were thinking about it. I sat patiently while looking up the sky.
"Shae." Gally said.
They asked me sit in front of them.
"May the leader of the job step in front." Alby said.
Then an unexpected person stepped in front.
