I woke up and I laid there in my bed with my feet hanging off the edge just thinking about my normal life. I lived with my mom on our beach house on Long Island because we loved the beach so much. Every time I smell the ocean air or get in the water I feel right I feel...home. I got up put my slippers on and went down stairs to eat breakfast. When I got down my mom was making pancakes my favorite.

She smiled when she saw me then said "How did u sleep Jen?" I shrugged my shoulders "Eh it was ok just had another nightmare" I respond. "Was it about that monster and that camp again?" "Yea it's so weird I always get chased by this monster and I end up running to this camp, every night it's the same thing". My mom looked a little frightened and like she was holding something back, something she wanted to tell me but couldn't or maybe even wouldn't. I decided not to
question her so I just sat down and ate my breakfast.

When we finished I went up stairs to get ready for school. Ugh school, I really hated school because I'm dyslexic and I almost failed everything but today I was kinda excited to go to school because I'm taking me drivers test after school. The day went by pretty fast but things got weird and kinda scary when I went to soccer practice.

I got dressed and went to the field, I didn't even notice there was a new girl at practice until we started to run laps. The new girl started to stare at me, I tried to ignore it but it was so weird. I went to the bathroom and she followed me and that's when I really started to freak out. I asked her why she was staring at me earlier and why she followed me in here but all she did was hiss. Then right before my eyes she turned into a a monster snake lady with a bubbly waist that seemed to turn into different vicious animals, then I realized...it was the monster from my dreams.
