I couldn't believe Nicki was standing infront of me and you could tell by the way she was looking she was upset. I have a lot of explaining to do...
"Baby is that you " A extremely nervous Meek says ."What do you mean is that me ?? Why are you here your supposed to be dead . Why aren't you dead Rihmeek ??"
At this point Onika was balling her eyes out .
"Because I had to do what's best for my family I had to fake it"
"So you couldn't tell me ?? I had to go through 3 years without you to find out your still alive naw Meek that's not ok."Nicki says as she walks away she was tired of his excuses
Nicki POV
After work
4:30pm
As I'm walking out of my office I'm making sure I don't run into Meek .And just when I think I was good I wouldn't see him he pops up out of nowhere like what the hell.
"Hey Nic can I talk to you for a second?"
"I mean since you've been gon for such a long time and missed 3 years of your child's life why not ."
They sit outside on the bench and talk...
"You wanted to talk so talk."
"You know you miss me Onika why you tryna fight it??"
"I'm not trying to fight anything you left me I'm heartbroken . You don't know how many nights I was up sulking over you . Just to find out you are still alive. If that wasn't you in the casket then who was it ?? "
"I put rocks in the casket because I wanted everyone to think I was dead so no one would go after my family ."
"Wait I don't understand why would people come after us ?? What is it that your not telling me ??"
"I didn't want to have to tell you this at all but I'm in the drug dealing business .Im a dope dealer. I had to do what's best for my mom ,sister and son .So I got into the business and now there's no backing out of it I got myself in too deep."
"So even if you tryed to get out of this you can't !?"
"Exactly I can't remove myself when I been in this ever since I was 16 ."
I realized I never put Nickis or Meeks age Nicki is 20 and Meek is 22.
"Does anyone else know that your not dead??"
"No only My Mom she knew the whole plan she knew I didn't want you hurt so she helped me protect you ."Meek then pulls Nicki into his lap as she lays on his shoulder silently crying.
"Nic?"
"Yes Rihmeek " Onika says as she wipes the remaining tears " What did you name our baby?"a curious Meek asks ."Rihyland....I named her Rihyland Journee Williams "
"Well when can I meet Ms.Rihyland"
"Today if you want"
"Yes sure where do you live ??"
"I'll call you Meek chill out " Nicki says as she walks to her car.
"Wait Tayna !!"
"Yes Rihmeek !" an aggravated Nicki ask
"How can you call me if you don't have my number " Meek says as he chuckles .
"Well why are you standing there come get my number boy"
