"Sort of. He was really pissed the other night."
"Over what?"
"Mike and what he did to you. When we drove by your house he saw you running towards the street and saw Mike chasing after you and Mason, he was flipping out. He could see the pain he caused you, he was about to get out of the car and beat the hell out of him. But I calmed him down, telling him it wasn't worth it and that you and Mason would be safe once you got into the car." I was about to respond but then Harry pounds back into the room, his eyes roaring with anger. Mason jumps at the sudden sound of stomping, I place my hand on his back trying to comfort him.
"I hate management," Harry throws his hands up in frustration over his head.
"What did they do now?" Louis groans.
"They didn't, quote on quote, approve of mine and Ciara's walk the other day with Mason, they saw the pictures from the paparazzi," he responds, a disgusted look on his face.
I'm lost. "Management?"
"The people that ruin my life," Harry takes a seat, breathing in and out.
"Our lives," Louis corrects. Harry nods in agreement, they both bring their eyes back to me.
"What did they say?" I ask, afraid I won't be allowed to see Harry or Louis again.
"They just don't want me around you anymore. Apparently I'm not allowed to hang out with a girl who isn't a model or some kind of celebrity. I think they have something against me! I'm so frustrated with them. They're not taking you or Mason away from me," he put his face in his hands, hiding his face from mine and Louis' view.
"You didn't tell them about Mason right?" Louis' expression stiffens, I've never seen him so serious.
"Of course not!" He mumbles into his palm.
"He's trying to calm down," Louis mouths, pointing to him.
"I can tell," I mouth back, smiling a bit but his face still remains emotionless. What would be such a big deal about Harry having a child? I get that One Direction may lose some fans but Harry has a life to live too, he can't be hiding his and his son's relationship until his career ends. Who knows how long that will be, I'm not sticking around to find out either.
"Maybe I should just go and ge-," I start before Harry pops his head up and looks me dead in the eye. I couldn't even continue my sentence, it's like the words I was about to say slipped out of my throat.
"That's the last thing I want. You're not going anywhere and neither is our son. You need to be protected from Mike and I'm the only one who can do that, understood?" I sit there, not knowing how to respond to his sudden harsh tone. It's like my input wasn't even an option, we just go with whatever Harry thought was best. What does Harry know?
"I'll be on the front porch if you need me, I need to get some air," Louis hesitantly stands up, noticing Harry's change of mood.
"Take Mason with you," Harry orders. "I need to speak with Ciara alone." Louis waits for my approval, I give in and nod, curious on why Harry wanted to speak with me privately. Louis scoops Mason up in a quick gesture and starts making silly faces. Laughing, Mason's carried out the door without even a single fuss.
Once they're out the door, I start to speak quietly. "I didn't mean to make you upset," I reply, feeling my cheeks become heated. His intense stare made me feel exposed and the center of attention, I didn't like it.
"I don't know why I got so..." He searches for the correct word.
"Mikeish?" I offer as a correct term.
