The desert war

I scanned the horizon checking to see any opponents coming we couldn't be supposed. As scanned I saw something a flash of movement I locked on the location watching to see if there was anything while reaching down and reporting into my radio
"This Charlie guard watcher I have spotted a possible disturbance report back in 5"
I did another check before switching into sensor mode to find any hiding opponent then I saw it, an ambush
"This Charlie guard watcher enemy ambush spotted I repeat enemy ambush spotted engagement in about 3 clicks"
I heard re sound of the large guns no the escorts cocking and rotating into positions as the formation changed from single file column into a diamond form. I jogged slid of my watch station and changed the scout vehicle to combat mode and started to aim the weapons "look like a big one?" Called the driver "shouldn't be too bad" I called back. As I swiveled into position I began to fire blasting where I had seen the opponents. I didn't take long for them to come out of hiding and engage i manned to destroy 3 enemy vehicles before the made out of my range, I risked a glance at the large armored vehicles destroying countless enemy's before focusing on the battle and targeting any enemy's close enough to hit.

Soon the battle was over we had won as we settled back into the single file line that was fastest a single enemy appeared I saw the rocket flying toward the cargo we where protecting and my driver accelerated flying over a dune and into the path of the rocket. It was over faster that it had begun.
