Rainbow sang softly noticing how her eyes changed blue to red to green in a pattern while she cleaned the many windows in the house. Rainbow froze feeling her grandmother's presence near, the instant she heard her grandmother's heels clicking against the floor she stood up straight focusing on cleaning the windows not making a sound. "Rainbow all the windows better be washed by noon, we have guest coming by" her grandmother stopped and looked down at Rainbow "oh and make sure you are not seen when they are here.... no one wants to see a devil child" Rainbow flinched slightly under her grandmother's glare and nodded. Her grandmother took a strand of her hair into her hand making Rainbow shake a little "this.... this is supposed to be brown young lady. No one wants to see that awful multicolored hair of yours" grandmother shook her head in disapproval "b-but... grandmother I can't keep the spell up f-for long it makes me tired..." Rainbow wished she could just shrink and hide from the look her grandmother was giving her, well she could but she knew it would just make it worst for her "i don't care Rainbow. It stays brown as long as I say so and if you even want the slightest chance to be able to come out of the basement when the guest are over your hair will be brown. Not rainbow, now finish cleaning" with that her grandmother left. Rainbow let out a sigh of relief she knew she wouldn't get much to eat after speaking without permission but she didn't care she was pleased at the idea she might get to see the visitors. Grandmother would never allow that you fool she's just tricking us, Rainbow looked outside the window letting out another sigh, true.... grandmother would never do sush a thing.... you win this time voice. Rainbow heard a soft chuckle come from the back of her mind, I'm always right.
