"W...what did you say" I stuttered, shocked out of my mind

"She was pregnant, I mean she is, it's very strange" the doctors confusion unnerves me even more

"Why?" I don't know why I asked that I doubt I want to know why

"Her body isn't functioning, at least no more than her heart to keep pumping and her lungs to keep breathing but barely enough to maintain her in this state let alone maintain the baby too, and yet somehow the baby is still perfectly well" that sounds like I good thing so then why do I think it's not

"But isn't that a good thing if the baby is still okay" I don't understand any of this

"Yes it's just very strange"

"What happens to the baby if Mal doesn't come back?" I don't want to hear this I'm sure

"I'm Mal doesn't get back then this body infront of us dies, and the baby dies with it" those words send shockwaves through my system, I may have only known about this baby for a short time but it's still my baby and I still want to keep it safe

"Can you tell what it is, you know if it's a boy or a girl?" I can't talk about it as an it anymore

"It's a girl, she's carrying the princess of Auradon" okay wow that stung a little more than I thought it would, now I just want to be swallowed up by the ground so I don't have to deal with this

"Okay, thank you" I need her to go before I just fall apart, luckily with that she nods and then leaves

"Mal baby, I need you back, our daughter needs you back" I kiss her hand and try not to lose it completely

There's a baby, I can't believe that, we only had sex a few times and we used protection every time I swear to god, but whatever, what's done is done I guess it just didn't work, it doesn't matter, we were gonna have a baby in he future anyway, but first she has to come back to me, I will never be able to keep living if I lose her, and the baby will be gone too, this is just too much, I just can't help but wonder did she know? I see another lock start to turn white, the locks are quite small so there will be quite a few before she has run out of time but if only I could figure out when that is, I think as hard as I can and then suddenly remember something, Mal said maleficent only uses the positions of the moon to calculate the time when she's plotting, I look up when the next event for the moon is, there a new moon in.....two weeks! That's when it is, that's how long she's got, there's gotta be something I can do to help her but I've gotta start thinking right now and I can't do it alone, I'm gonna need the others, first up, Evie
