A/N: So guys this is my first book! Some of the book is based on my actual life, and other parts are made up. Please vote and comment your opinion on my book. I am posting a cast list, and the cast is just who I see fits the role in my book. You guys can always imagine your own characters or use a different actor/actress. Anyways I hope you love my book I'm always open to constructive criticism. Love you all & God bless you guys. Btw you guys can follow me on Instagram @khiiiaa. Btw x2 Kylie is at the top. At first I chose Ciara to be Kylie, but than I felt like she didn't match my description. Don't like her ? Imagine her as someone else.

Part 1: Do you remember me?

I know you're scared of where the road might take you, but know I'll be with you throughout the journey. Even if your car is complete crap.
-Mark

"You're going to love it here! There's so many teens around here that live in our neighborhood. I'm positive you'll make so many new friends darling."

"I simply nodded my head, and gave my mom a small smile. I noticed so many things about her I don't even think she noticed about herself. For example I noticed how she never made direct eye contact with me. Its like she's scared to look in my eyes, because I'll turn her in to stone. Whatever eye contact is so awkward anyways. If you make to much eye contact people think you're a stalker, but if you make little to no eye contact people think you're uninterested. Just can't please everyone."

"Kylie! Get out of the car already." She scowled me.

"I looked up at the car window, and barely noticed we were here. Hey mom could you help me with my bags please?"

"Do it yourself Kylie I need a drink." My mom said with annoyance.

"With that she hopped out the car tossed me the keys, and walked in to the house. I was so stunned at her response I didn't know what to do. I blame myself for even asking for her help. Ever since dad left she closed herself off to me. Our roles pretty much reversed. I took care of her and made sure she got what she needed while she just continued to push me away. I was so lost in thought I didn't even notice the young man standing behind me."

"Need some help curly?" The guy said.

"I quickly turned around and came face to face with someone I sort of recognized. Do I know you?"

"Have you forgot me already curly? You've only been gone for a few years." The guy said.

"Something about those words."

Flashback:" Oh curly you've always been such a stick in the mud. Why can't you just live a little?"

"Mark you know I don't like it when you call me curly."

"Why not? Curly suits you very well. Your hair is dark and curly." Mark said.

"That's true Mark, but curly sounds like curly fries, and I don't want people thinking I'm named after French fries."

"Being named after fries wouldn't be that bad. I mean fries are so delicious and crispy. Plus they come from potatoes and potatoes are just downright awesome." Mark laughed.
"I rolled my eyes at his comment. Arguing about my nick name with him would be pointless. Hey what time is it?"

"Its time for us to go home." Mark pouted.

"We sprinted to my house, and I stopped at the door after I heard yelling. Oh well I'm going to go inside you can just go home."

"Kylie let me come inside with you." He froze up

"He only spoke my real name during serious and intense moments. I wanted him to help me, but I knew it would just make the situation worse. I got this Mark go home you don't want to be late for your family thing."

"Kylie let me come inside with you! Stop pushing me away." He yelled.

"Go home Mark now. I blinked to hold back my tears. I wanted his help, but I knew I could never receive it. I could see the hurt in his eyes for just a second before he turned around and walked the rest of the way home. Not once did he turn around, and look back at me. I turned towards my door, and opened it peeking my head in. I gasped at the sight."

Flashback over.

"Curly are you high?" Mark said.

"No why would you think that?" I exclaimed.

"Well we were talking, and you spaced out on me, so I assumed you were high." Mark said.

"Whatever man. I picked up one of my bags allowing him to grab the other, and we walked through the front door. The first thing I noticed when we entered was my mom. She was putting on her heels. Where are you going?"

"I'm going out with some friends I'll be back soon. "

"Well what am I suppose to do while you're gone?" I said.

"Do whatever you teens do now & days." She said.

"Mom teens my days throw parties, do drugs, and get laid." I said.

"Well don't do those things. I'm talking about the other teens that are socially awkward like you." She said.

"Mark laughed at her statement. I'm not socially awkward!" I protested.

"Please Kylie. You would much rather stay home, read a book, and eat pizza then go out and party."

"That doesn't make me socially awkward that just makes me smart. Things happen at parties mom. Really bad things."

"Whatever I'll be back soon. Mark you're free to stay as long as you want. It's good she has friends." My mom said.

"When my mom said soon I knew she wouldn't be back for a few days. She kissed me bye, and I watched as she pulled out of our drive way."

"You're acting like she's leaving forever." Mark said.

"I furrowed my brows at his comment. What are you talking about?"

"You were watching your mom like you might never see her again." Mark laughed.

"You never know I might not see her again." I giggled

"So curly what shall we do now that your mom is gone?" Mark said.

"I barely noticed that he spoke in a English accent when he said that. Of course I mimicked his tone of voice. Hmmm I suggest we check the magic video box for programs to watch."

"Magic video box!? What is that?" Mark said.

"Its the television." I whined.

"Fine we can watch the video box." Mark said.

"He sat down and began flipping through the channels trying to find a program. I sat down next to him and began scanning through our options."

"I want to watch Supernatural!" Mark whined.

"Who cares about the Winchester boys? I want to watch Greys Anatomy!" I said.

"I have to watch Supernatural! How else will I find out whether or not Sam and Dean defeat Lucifer!" Mark said.

"That's such an old episode. What about Greys!? It's an episode I haven't seen." I complain.

"Spoiler alert! Everyone either dies or leaves." Mark said.

"After a few more minutes of arguing we agree on watching a different show. We both decided we would watch The Walking Dead. I'd never seen it, but apparently he's seen every episode."
