Lightning Strikes

How it all began

My name is Rose West, but you can call me Rosy. That's what my friends call me. But when I'm in uniform I'm called Lightning. This is the story of how I became a hero, as told from my point of view, and the points of view of some of my closest friends. Let the story begin.

................ Wally's house..................

..Rose POV..

"Hey Wally! Are you in here!?" I yelled. I've been trying to find my cousin Wally for what feels like an hour now. I finally decided to look in his garage. Wally told me to meet him at his house after school today. He said he had something really important to tell me, something I could NEVER tell anyone for as long as I lived. That scared me a little. Just then I see a flash of red hair out of the corner of my eye.

"Yeah I'm over here!" He yells from across the garage. He is definitely a loud mouth.

I run over to see him working with all kinds of test tubes and beakers with all sorts of different liquids and powders. This also scares me a little.

"What's all this stuff for Wally?" I ask.

"Urm, it's just an experiment. Nothing important." He said, " Hey remember why I told you to meet me here?" He asked.

"Yeah, something about a secret." I whisper.

"Ok, so you've heard of The Flash right?" He asks.

"Yeah, why?"

"Uncle Barry is the Flash!" He says in a loud whisper.

"WHAT!"

This is Foxheart speaking and this is my first book ever. I'm officially an author. I hope you like this book. I will try to update every Monday and maybe other days too.
