“Mr. Pres may isa pa pong humabol na mag-audition”

I sighed. Kahit hindi ko itanong alam ko na babae ang huling kakanta.

“Okay” matamlay ko na sabi sa kanya sabay abot ng listahan ng napili ko.

“Mr. Pres. May isa pa po” sabi ni Josh na hindi tinanggap ang papel na inaabot ko sa kanya.

Gusto ko sanang ipagpilitan ang pag-abot ng papel pero dali-dali itong umalis.

Kaya itinabi ko na lang ang listahan ko sigurado kasi akong wala ng maidagdag pa sa listahan ko.

I just rested my head in my chair at pinikit ang mata ko and put on my earphones and played a song.

Napatigil ako ng marinig ang boses ng babae. There is something in her voice na parang nang-hehypnotized para pakinggan ko.

I turn off the music na pinakikinggan ko kasi hindi ko na iyon naintindihan coz the voice of the girl singing right now is prevailing.

Wala sa sarili kong kinuha ang listahan ko and eyed on the empty slot.

Nagtatalo ang kaloob-looban ko kung isusulat ang huling entry number o hindi. I have doubts because it’s a girl who is singing right now at wala pa akong pinakinggan na babaeng kumakanta kahit na certified recording artist pa ito.
