Ep 6: Talking Veggies

Skylar smiled warmly as she scooped the rookie digimon in her arms and gave him a warm embrace. "Wait until Mimi hears about this. I'm sure she would love to come to Japan and visit. She would be so excited to hear that Leomon is alive and well."

Jeremy smiled warmly between the two of them. Skyler looked away from the digimon and peered over at Jeremy. "I can't believe you almost put Yolei in harms way, though." She stood up and made her way over to him. She slapped him on the back of her head.

"Didn't you know that i adopted Yolei, Cody, and Simon?" She asked in exasperation.

Jeremy blinked. "Huh?"

Skylar placed her hands on her chest. "When i was younger. I adopted T.K. and Kari. I protected them from any type of danger. Now, i will do the same for those three as well."

Jeremy pointed towards her. "I thought Simon got on your nerves since he pranks you so much."

Skylar shrugged. "He does. But at the end of the day. He is improving in his studies. Plus, after meeting his older sister. I could see that he had someone very mature to guide him."

"Well, what about Davis? Why aren't you adopting him? "

Skylar grimaced. "Ugh...he has annoyed me far too long." She crossed her arms over his chest. "He is a lost cause."

"Something was weird!" T.K. mummbled aloud. Shaking Jeremy out of his memories.

Patamon was sitting on top of his head with a puzzled look. "What?"

"Well, the fact that it was so easy for us to escape. There wasn't a single guard around. It was like he wanted us to get away. I think he's up to something." He rubbed his chin softly.

"He does have a point. Ever since last time. He tried to steal your digivices to get ahold of the digiamors. I would've been sure he would've tried again." Hyokomon pointed out.

Davis waved the two of them off. "You guys are crazy! He took one look at our awesome skills, and he hit the road!" He turned his gaze over to Kari as a flirtatious smile formed on his lips. "Isn't that right, Kari?"

"Oh. Actually, Davis, I'm going to have to agree with TK on this one."

"Honestly, Davis, T.K. and Hyokomon is right. It is a little odd. Hell, just yesterday, everyone was nearly done for." Jeremy reminded him once again.

Davis threw his hands up in the air in frustration. "Ugh!!"

Kari shook her head. "We wouldn't be able to get away that easy without some sort of a reason!"

Tai smiled softly as he looked around at the younger digdestined. "We'll deal with that later! Let's get back to the real world. I can almost smell the cafeteria food from here!"

Simon rubbed his hands together softly. "If i remember correctly. Skylar promised us all cookies for our return."

Leomon grimaced at the thought of returning to the real world. "Do we have to go back through the digi gate?"

Leomon, like the others, quickly learned of the troubles of traveling through the digital gates.

"That's the only way we know off to get back." Jeremy grinned up at his partner digimon

Leomon sighed softly. "Fine"

Jeremy sniffed the air softly. "Hey, doesn't anyone smell something strange...?"

Yolei had a small frown on her face. "Yeah, i can smell it too."

"That's my peanut butter and jelly bean sandwich I've had in my pocket since last week." The goggle head exclaimed as he patted his pocket softly.
