Jiminxreader - first date

~ Chapter 1 ~

Everyday you walk to a small store down the street from your apartment in hopes to see the man you talk to only so often. He was a gentleman when you spoke, his dark hair normally nice and fluffy, and his smile lit up the room like you've never seen before. This morning you rolled out of bed in anticipation of eating a nice bowl of cereal. You got the bowl out and poured the cereal into it before going to your refrigerator to get milk. Opening your refrigerator you groaned and said, "You have got to be kidding me!!!" As you saw, you didn't have any. Trudging back to your room grumpily, you threw on some jeans and a big sweat shirt before heading down to the small store you visit so often. 'There's one good thing about this....' You thought as you walked, 'I'll be able to see him....' You smiled a bit and thought more about him as you continued to walk. Once you reached the store, you walked in and looked at the counter. Jimin was talking to someone he was checking groceries out for but looked towards you and smiled widely saying, "Good morning! Welcome!" Which made you giggle a little as you quickly ran towards the back to grab a small quart of milk. Once you had found the milk you wanted, you took it up the front to Jimin and he scanned the item. "Oh, it won't scan..... Hmmm.... Let's go get another one, shall we?" Nodding you watched as he walked out from around the counter with the milk and to the back to get a new carton. "So umm..." He looked at you as the two of you walked and said, "You come here lots I've noticed." He looked away from you and shook his head a bit as his stupid remark. Laughing a bit you said, "Yeah, I do. I just need lots of food you know?" He laughed and said, "Yeah, well..... Would you maybe like to...-" Someone came up and asked him a question of where something was and he directed them there. Once they had left the two of you continued to wards the back where the milk was. Finally reaching the area it was at and he replaced the milk you had gotten for a new one. "Isn't this the type you got?" He asked while holding it up. You nodded and said, "Yes but what were you saying earlier?" He turned completely around to face you and said, "Well.... I-I hope this isn't out of place but I was wondering, since you like food so much maybe you would like to..... Go get some? Later today? L-like as a date?" He waited for your answer nervously as you thought for a second and replied, "Well, since I like food so much.... And I am single.... And happen to be free tonight..... I would say that's a yes!" He smiled widely as you answered this and nodded, running back up to the counter and checking the milk out for you. "I guess I'll see you later then? I get off at 6 so..... Here!" He handed you a slip of paper and said, "Just call me and we can meet up somewhere or something!" Nodding you said, "Sounds good! I'll see you later! Thank you!!" Walking out of the store you first bumped the air happily and hurried home anticipating the date you had later today.
