The next day Hajime stopped by Nagito's cottage. He knocked on the door and Komaeda answered, looking a bit more happier than usual. "Why hello Hajime." He answered like he always does. "H-Hey Nagito, I was wondering if you'd like to walk to the restaurant with me?" He asked, his face turning pink.
"That'd be great." Nagito accepted and came out of his cottage. He closed the door behind him and hooked his arm around Hajime's. Seeing how nice of a person he was, Hajime didn't refuse. As they walked to the restaurant, Nagito hummed a quiet tune.
Once they got to the restaurant, Nagito and Hajime unhooked arms and walked inside. Once they got inside, everyone was silent.
Hajime looked around, extremely confused. "Hey why is everyone so quiet..? Did something happen?" Out of nowhere Kazuichi hopped out in front of them. "You know damn well that something happened, you lovebirds!"
Hajime froze and looked down at Komaeda. Had he told everyone about that kiss? No, he'd probably assume that nobody would listen to him, much less believe him.
"Come on, don't try and hide it. Akane and Kazuichi told us themselves that they saw you two kiss!" Hiyoko exclaimed, smirking evilly. "Are you two boyfriends or something? Even Hajime could've done better than that!" She said and laughed with a few snickers following.
"Well?" Kazuichi crossed his arms impatiently. "N-No.. We're not-" Hajime started but was interrupted by Komaeda. "Yes! We are boyfriends!" He said smiling.
Everyone froze. "Sorry for seeming so excited, but I just can't believe someone actually likes some piece of trash like myself..." Komaeda said, wrapping his arms around a bright red Hajime. "U-Uh.. I-I.." Hajime had no idea what to do, but Komaeda sure had things in mind.
Out of nowhere, Komaeda softly grabbed Hajime's cheeks and pulled him down so they kissed. Hajime's eyes widened as he tried to pull away but Komaeda wouldn't let him.
After what felt like decades, Komaeda pulled away and turned to everyone smiling. Everyone had the same shocked expression on their faces and they were all looking at Hajime, who was sweating like crazy.
Komaeda walked over to one of the tables, took a plate of bagels and went back to Hajime. "Come on, let's get out of here!" Komaeda said as he grabbed Hajime by the arm and pulled him out of the restaurant, leaving everyone silent.
"What.. The fuck just happened?" Fuuyuhiko muttered, his voice almost echoing since it was so quiet.
Komaeda walked back to his cottage, holding his plate of bagels in one and dragging Hajime with the other.
Once they got there, Komaeda set his plate of bagels on the table and pulled Hajime into his bed with him. Komaeda wrapped his arms around Hajime and snuggled him, his head in his chest.
"Komaeda-" Hajime sighed while he was being snuggled. He wrapped his arms around Komaeda and ran his fingers through his soft, marshmallow-y hair.
"Sorry for making such a scene Hajime.." Komaeda apologized, his voice muffled because of Hajime's chest. "Don't worry about it.. I actually kind of liked it." He admitted, his cheeks turning pink. Komaeda looked up at him with that devilish smirk on his face. "Would you care to try it again?" He asked, hope in his eyes.
Hajime sighed than gave Komaeda a warm smile. "If you really want to that-" but he was cut off by Komaeda who had already pressed his soft lips against Hajime's. There a huge smile on Komaeda's face while they kissed and the same went for Hajime.
After a while they pulled away and looked into each other's eyes. "I love you, Hajjme" Komaeda said to a blushing Hajime. "I-I love you too.." He muttered under his breath. Komaeda giggled softly before resting his head in Hajime's chest and closing his eyes as he drifted off to sleep. Hajime smiled and kissed him on the forehead before closing his eyes and going to sleep himself.
