I feel it in my heart
It swells inside my veins
Your essence is still there
But your bodies gone away
The memories feel like moments
Just a billion years away
Too much time was wasted
On stupid plastic gifts
We came to love each other
On our lives last breath
People always think
They're doing what is best
When sometimes they don't
And it hurts us instead
Now, months later in life
History is on repetition
Feelings from the past
Come back into the present
Black lipstick, even so dark
Stays so close to me
That love was too much
That kiss could not show
So many symbols
Like fishes in ponds
And he has forgotten
What we called love
So when I cry in my home
And I sit with sad song
I hope he's as happy
As I am alone
