2nd Confession

Chapter 1

Hi! I'm Soyun, Ahn Soyun, typical/normal Korean student, and just like any other student, I have my flaws, hobbies, and of course crush. He's name is Yook Sungjae, he's been my crush ever since first year in senior high. We're now on our 3rd year and we're graduating. Well we still have 1 month to go before graduation actually, but you see, the problem is I have never confess to him at all. I really don't have the courage to tell him how I feel. I know I sound ridiculous already, so let me just tell you the things I know about him.

Yook Sungjae is 185 cm tall, fair complexion, handsome features, and most importantly he has an amazing voice I've heard in my entire life. And his voice is the reason why I like him so much. Can you even consider it like? Or is it already love? I really don't know, I hope someday he'll notice me~

(Knocks) "Soyun-ah, breakfast is ready, stop day dreaming and hurry up" my dearest mother interrupted me. She's the best mother for me, well she's my only mother so do I really have a choice? Kidding. She's like my best friend, we tell each other almost everything.
"Be right there mom" I answered and hurriedly follow her to the kitchen.
"So are you girls going to the party this Saturday?" she asked. I know she means me and my best friends Yujin and Sora.
"What party?" I asked confusedly. Does she mean the pre graduation ball?
"The pre graduation ball for your year. You should go dear, it will be fun and we can pick the dress that you'll be wearing" she excitedly said "And besides, your crush is going to be there" she added and I almost choke on what I'm eating.
"Mom! How did you know that he's going? Where did you hear that?" I asked curiously.
"I heard some of your schoolmates talk about it yesterday at the store" she told me with matching squeal like a teenage girl. You may ask what store my mom is talking about, she owns a small convenient store just outside the school and 3 blocks from our house.
"Wow! You're more excited than I am" I told her. She just grin back at me.
"Finish your meal and get going, I need to go first and open the store, Sehun will be late today" she said as she arrange her things.
"Did he told you why?" I asked.
"He said he needs to do some errand for his grandmother, you know him. He's grandma always comes first" she quickly checks her watch "Wash the dishes before you go, okay?" I just nodded and finished my breakfast.
Again, you might be wondering who this Sehun guy is, right? He's our neighbor, a year older than me. He is supposed to be in college but due to financial problems he can't go to school and he's the only one taking care of his grandmother. We're kind of close because he's been working at my mom's store since he was in high school. At first he just work there on weekends, now he's a regular employee. And my mother trust him a lot. She consider him as her 2nd child.

I finished my breakfast, wash the dishes and went to school on my bike. I prefer ridding this than walking alone. I arrived at school a little early, I checked my watch and it is still 7:00, I still have 30 minutes before first period. I went to the school's rooftop, it is my favorite place here in school. No one goes here making it so peaceful. I take out my phone and my earphone and started singing quietly. I sing along the song as I look at the sky, and just like this place the sky seems peaceful, it's bright blue and white colors makes it even more peaceful and beautiful. I close my eyes and embrace the peacefulness. How I wish that I could spend this time with the important person in my life. Just thinking about it makes me smile. (Krings~) The sound of the first bell echoed through my earphones signaling that it is almost time for the first period. I hurriedly went down not even noticing that I drop something.
