PHOTO OF MCKENNA TO THE SIDE/TOP

It wasn't as though anyone got hurt..... It was all a big misunderstanding! This isn't where I want to be but man, it didn't look anything like I thought it would. The sickening smell of death makes me gag and the endless screeching of the rotting rats around me makes me cringe. I don't see anything besides black and a dim light from under the door. I feel around myself, trying to figure out what I can.

The floor is cold and hard under me and I swear a rat touched my foot... Eww. I find the damp, grimy wall and push myself up against it. I sigh at the sudden sensation of cold against my aching body. I close my eyes and push myself into a standing position, testing every bone, muscle and joint in my body in the process. I grit my teeth and I realize that they aren't clean. I groan and use my probably dirty, ripped shirt to wipe them smooth. Satisfied with my progress I stumble to the door, mentally laughing at my position. I grab the smooth, cold handle and throw the door open with a little bit more strength than needed because surprisingly, it was unlocked. I walk out and cringe at the sudden shower of light. I rub my dry eyes and roll my stiff shoulders hearing the popping of the air in my joints as they move around. I look down at my body the best I can with my sore, blurry eyes. Red dried up blood coats my knees and knuckles and I shrug, not worried because I've been through worse. I hear yelling down the hallway and chills run down my spine. I can picture them in my head. Old with yellow teeth and a crooked smile. Beady eyes and scruffy beards. I stop and think over my decision to walk towards the voices but I was already at the door with my hand resting on the cold handle.

"She's just a girl leave her be!" I hear one of the men say with a thick Irish accent.

"She, my friend, is the most admired fighter in the history the UFC. This girl will make me MILLIONS!" I hear another guy say and I frown in confusion. I work alone, always have always will.

I take a step back to run away but fall over and onto the ground with a loud band. I curse under my breath and scramble up just as the door opens. "Ah good your awake. Come in" The Irish guy says and I slowly walk into the room, avoiding eye contact.

"Would you like some water?" The other guy asks and I whisper a yes quietly. I get given a a glass of water and I chug it in 3 seconds. The cool liquid quickly stinging my dry throat. I grab some serviettes which were also put in front of me with some Detol. I dip the serviette into the Detol then apply it to my knuckles and knees. The familiar stinging makes me smile lightly, this is what I live for you know? Blood doesn't bother me and pain is my game.

Once I'm done I look up at the 2 men. Surprisingly they're not at all what I thought. Both with crisp and clean suits, hair neat and no facial hair. Perfect teeth and soft eyes. What kind of kidnappers are these?!

"Hey girly, I'm Xavier and this is Peter. We are your uncles!" The Irish guy says with a smile and I look at them with wide eyes. "Uhh... what? Are you sure?" I question.

"Yes we are sure McKenna. We heard that you liked boxing and considering we own the world biggest boxing brand, we decided to sponsor you. We told your mum that you went on a holiday for a few months and the silly woman actually believed us! Anyway, we want to make you a star." Peter says and I giggle at how naive and silly my mum can be.

"Well... can I call her?" I ask and both men look at me.

"If you want to be eaten alive then sure but she's not happy with you right now" Peter says

"Look, how about you get yourself cleaned up and we can make a start on dinner." Xavier says with a warm smile. He leads me back to a different room where there is a bed and clothes and a bathroom.
