(1) The running

Please don't judge my book on this chapter it's horrible and I know I need to rewrite it and I will do that at some point but I don't really even have time to write new chapters so I'm more focused on those than this chapter.

(Anna's hair on side)

Hi I'm Violet.

Me mom and dad are in the car on the way to get Jack (violets 14 y/o brother)from school.

That's when it happened a car ran through the red light as we were driving.

It hit us from the front everything was a blur after that.

(Skip 1 week later)

All I can see is darkness.

I see a light and I keep walking closer and closer to it.

Eventually I get to the light and it's a door.

I walk into the door and I see a lady with very pale skin white hair and a beautiful white dress on.

"Who are you?" I ask her.

"I'm the moongodess and you're Violet." She answers with power in her voice.

"Where am I?" I ask her another question.

"You are in heaven my dear child." I'm in heaven?

"Am I dead?" I ask freaking out a little.

"No dear you're not I just need to tell you something." She says.

"What is it?"I ask her yet another question.

"Many times in life you will face many troubles and those troubles will help you grow stronger to defeat one of the most powerful things to walk earth."

"What I'm confused?"

"I'm sorry that's all I can say you must go back."she says.

She starts to disappear and it gets brighter until I can make out a room a hospital room maybe?

A lady walks in and looks up from her clipboard then runs out that was weird.

I heard foot steps coming closer to the room I'm in until they were right outside the door.

The door opened slowly and then I saw alpha Connor and jack.

They came closer to my bed until they were right next to me.

"Hey Violet I know this is going to be hard to take all at once but your mom and dad a-a-are dead." alpha Connor said as a tear rolled down jacks face.

No this couldn't be happening.

I rolled up into a ball and started sobbing for hours.

I was consumed by darkness.

I woke up.

I looked around for a clock it's 1:27am.

I'm still in the hospital bed, I took out all of the really really long needles.

I went outside then started walking towards the packhouse.

Once I made it there I went up to Anna's(violets best friend)room.

I shook her"Anna, Anna wake up." I said lowly

She finally woke up after a minute of me shaking her.

"Anna pack a bag full of clothes and money were leaving, don't tell anyone."I told her

"What why are we leaving?"she asked
