The Kidnapping Age

Part 1

Once upon a time, there was a 19 year old girl named Min Fireheart. She loved to run around her neighborhood and hang with her friends. But one day when she went out to play, one of her friends was missing. Her name was Maddi Lightheart. They were always hanging out and told each other everything, but when Min arrived at Maddi's house, it was broken into. Min was furious and couldn't control her hidden power. She lashed out into flames causing some of Maddi's stuff to burn. What she didn't notice was that there was a note. After finally noticing the note, she calmed down a bit thinking that Maddi could have been looking for something, and tore her house up. The note read,  If you want your best friend back, then meet me in South Alley at 9 tonight, and don't bring any back up or your little friend gets it.

Min ran out of the house as fast as she could to tell her other friends about what happened to Maddi and to show them the note. 

"I found this when I went to Maddi's. Also do you guys promise not to tell anyone if I tell you a secret?" asked Min 

"We promise,"answered Abby, Cadee and Gabby.

 "I-I just found out that I can control fire. I don't want to hurt you guys, so try not to be around when I'm mad, please," Min said. 

"I promise," repeated everyone, except Abby. Min handed them all the note so they could read it. Everyone except Abby was surprised. Little did anyone know that one of their friends took Maddi hostage.

When it was almost 9 Min made her way to South Alley. When she arrived, there was no one there. She waited and waited until finally someone showed up. This person was not Abby, but it was a full grown adult coming towards her. Min wanted to run but she also wanted to save her friend. 

"You should know why I'm here," said the stranger. 

"To be honest no I do not. Unless you're talking about my friend," answered Min. They stood in silence for what seemed like hours but as soon as the new comer talked Min knew right away that it wasn't about her friend. 

"I have no idea who your friend is. I'm here because someone said that they had something for me'" spoke the stranger softly.

 "Look I'm terribly sorry about what happened to your friend, but I came here because someone was going to give me my dog back."

"Then who am I supposed to meet Then?" asked Min.

 "It's not me!" said the stranger. Then someone else showed up, who looked just like Abby.

 "If you want your dog or your friend back you won't tell anyone about this!! You Will do exactly as I say it or you will not see your friend and your dog again!!!" said Abby. 

This "new" Abby wasn't like the real one. The real Abby wouldn't have taken Maddi hostage for some reason. 

"Min you will go and do my dirty work and if you don't, than I'll tell some scientist about you, and your power and as for you Josh, you will follow Min around, and make sure she does what I tell her. Unless you want your precious little puppy to be dead."
