And that was the moment I looked down, bowed my head, and didn't say a word to him for the time being. You see with Sven, he has always been the protective brother towards me, I cannot remember a time he hasn't. So with him on the brink of finding out offered me that job, I know he won't be happy. He doesn't exactly like what's going on with me and Sascha, taking in the age gap between us both. And that of course, is why it's so hard for me to tell.

"Uhm, Sofie?" Sven uttered, a little concerned. "Who gave you the job?"

Looking up at him ever so slightly with a worried look across my face, I eventually came out to speak. "It's in Germany...in Dortmund, who do you think offered me the job there Sven?"

The second those words came out of my mouth, I watched Sven breathe out sigh heavily as he looked at me. "Oh you have to be kidding me Sofie, not that asshole, not Sascha?" All it is I did was just nod my head, not speaking. "Why would you agree to something like that? Oh I know, so you can get back in that old man's bed again, like you do whenever you get to."

"Hey don't be like that!" I raised my voice, getting a little annoyed now. "That's not at all the reason why I've taken this job. I've taken it because it's a good chance for me to broaden my job choices elsewhere, and not just here in Denmark." I shrugged, crossing my arms at him.

"But still..." He paused. "I can imagine you'll be finding your way into bed with him though."

Rolling my eyes and shaking my head, I sighed, more than annoyed by all of this. "So what if I do Sven?" I looked at him, simply. "Me and Sascha are together, that's what people do."

"But come on sis, really?" He tried to plead with me. "That man is so much older than you, I know for a fact you could find someone even better than him at your age, not like it's hard."

"Stop it!" I pointed at him, getting angrier and angrier by the second. "I like Sascha and yes, he likes me too so that's all that matters." I shrugged. "Besides though, all I'm going over to Germany to do is work, not to see Sascha. That's why I'll be staying in a hotel, not with him."

"Pfft, yeah ok." Sven laughed sarcastically. "We'll see how long that lasts."

"Yes, yes we will actually." Having enough of this conversation I decided to stand up and go to the kitchen so I could make myself something to eat, after the long day of work. Well and so I could get away from my twin brother and his ever so protective ways as well, of course.

So breathing out in annoyance to myself I walked into the kitchen and got myself something to eat, a ham and mozzarella pitta to be exact, before sitting down at the table and starting to eat it. But just as I started to eat it, Sven walked in, making me roll my eyes then. "Sofie?"

"What do you want?" I said without even looking at him, my eyes down at my phone while I nibbled into my pitta bread. It was when Sven sat down beside me, that I looked up at him.

"I'm sorry, ok?" He breathed out, looking at me always while I looked back. "I can see you're really happy with Sascha but all I'm trying to do is look out for you, I'm protection you, and the last thing I want is for him to hurt you in any sort of way. You understand that, right?"

Continuing to look at him for a few seconds more without responding I eventually nodded, a small smile on my lips. "I understand that you're my brother and you think it's your job that you have to look out for me but trust me, I'm a grown up girl, I can take care of myself ok?"

Sven laughed, cracking a small smile. "I guess at times I seem to forget that we're twins and I'm only older than you by a few minutes." I slightly giggled at that. "But I don't want to see you get hurt, not by a man of his age as well. Seeing you upset, is something I can't handle."
