When I look at you
My heart starts to beat
Faster and faster
You're like my missing piece
Thoughts start to swarm
Like a nest of bees
Visions of us
Being together with please
When you start walking
To where I stand
My heart beats faster
Warmth in my hand
You say "Hey"
And I say "Hello"
We start talking
My face begins to glow
You tell me something funny
I laugh and smile
Internally I'm melting
Into a big puddle
You tell me more stuff
I smile with delight
For whenever you're with me
I seem more bright
Then the rain starts pouring
Here we are soaked
Yet you went behind and covered me
like you were my cloak
You protected me
From being more wet in the rain
Even if that meant
For you, it wouldn't be the same
I'm standing closer to you
Your warmth travels to me
We start talking again
And I'm still as happy as I can be
But then you're gone
Smile fading from my face
While you're leaving in your car
I'm two cars away
We go in the same direction
For only a few
Then we go separate ways
Two different views
We won't meet each other again
Until the next period of time
But I sit replaying today's memories
over on replay in my mind
Maybe we'll see each other
Before our next meet
For I will still be smiling
From my ear to my feet
