1. New School

I never really thought of heaven and hell, never the more living on a side. Earth is considered the the check point in dying, then you'll finally see; the side you'll be living on. Or at least that's what I thought..

As a senior in high school I have a little more time before I move on with my life. Being financially limited, I applied for a scholarship at Moonlight Academy.

Luckily I got in. Apparently I'm the only one who got in, surprisingly..
I packed the last of my things and saw the cross on my necklace and smiled.

The cross was my last gift from my mom, before she disappeared. As for my father, he died when I was 2 years old. He protected me and my mom from something horrible. To the extent where we needed to flee our old house.

Knock knock

I quickly ran to the door, as a tall man stood before me. He bowed and regained his posture "Are you Ms. Baek Saelin?" He asked politely, as I nodded "This is a personal escort given by head Mistress Ahn. Ill get your bags-"

"Ah..no it's fine. I got it" quickly Turing around to get my duffle bag and the box next to it. I lightly sighed once I fully closed my apartment door. Following the tall young man to the car I ask him his name and he simply replied "Renki" as he opened the trunk behind he opened the door for me in the back, and he made his way to the front.

I hadn't notice haw far we drove, since the school was located on a private land. That wasn't really scetchy for me since I used to roam around the woods when I was little. When I checked my phone it was literally 6:30pm and they picked me up at 2pm.

"This is insane" I mumbled. To my surprise the door suddenly opened with Renki there.

"Ms. Baek where here. Also I will be your servant for the time being. Also, today is the first day, and classes start at 7pm. Ill escort you to you room, so you could change into your uniform" Renki said as he lead me out of the car closing it behind me and getting my things out of the trunk.

"I got your things, so please follow me" as I followed right behind him. Walking through unknown corridors and hallways at night was hella scary I mean seriously.

"Hey Renki, is this a night school or something?" I asked as he chuckled

"Well it's both a night school and a day school. You'll be scheduled for the night classes" he said as he stopped in front of a door and opened it "This is your room" and came in to put my things beside my bed. Then glancing at me only to say "I'll be back with your schedule in five minutes. So do hurry up Ms. Baek" bowed and left.

I looked in my closet and found a weeks worth of uniforms. I gasped at all the books that were already here even before I moved in. I looked at the time, which was exactly 6:45 pm, so I hurriedly changed into my uniform.

Then hearing a knock I rushed to it, seeing Renki. "Ms. Baek here is your schedule-I'm sorry but I'm being summoned to Mrs. Ahn's side, will you be okay walking to class by yourself?" As I nodded he apologized once more, bowed and left into the shadows.

'Woah! He's like a ninja! Well...his name is Renki, so he must have a Japanese background somehow...right?' I asked myself while going to class.

7:00pm: All students report to your homerooms~

As I walked into the class filled with busy students I walked towards the teacher. Just then a guy bumped into me while walking, before the teacher said something to me, he glance at the boy a sacked his head

"Yah! How can you come into class, and bump into Ms. Saelin!? What the hell boy!?" He shouted as the boy glanced at me for a quick second then took his seat in the back of the class. The teacher sighed heavily and stared at me.

"Everyone this is Ms. Baek Saelin, please be nice to her. In the end you might regret it. Please take your seat, Saelin-sshi" he said and gestured to any seat. I eventually took the seat by the window. And looked out, just to see the courtyard. 'This is a bit different, but I'll get through it. Fighting Saelin-ah' I thought to myself and focused my gaze back at the board.

As class was over, I was about to leave for lunc-I mean dinner, until I bumped into another guy.

"Yah! Watch where your going!" He shouted grabbing everyone's attention. I then bowed and apologize to him, but it seemed to make him more mad.

"If you want my forgiveness, why don't you beg for it" he smirked at me

"Jo Kwangmin! Thats enough!" I heard someone shout from behind. As I turned around I saw a lady.

"But Head Mistress Ahn she bumped into me!" She helped me up and she pushed me behind her

"I don't care! You never treat a new student like that! Apologize to Saelin right now!" He scoffed and bowed at me. That was all he did, and left. Then the head mistress looked at me and asked if I was okay, as I nodded.

I thanked her and took my leave. I then went back to class. As I closer to my seat there was a note.
'Baek Saelin,
I knew your parents well, please forgive me for not helping them

"This is weird...but someone knew my parent's?" I mumbled as I felt a tap on my shoulder. As I turned around, I saw a guy standing behind me

"안옝(hai) Im Youngmin. Sorry about my brother" I stared at him in disbelief since he looked exactly the same. "Yea, we look alike. Let me rephrase; I'm his younger twin"

"Ah, I see..it's okay, I mean it's not like he hurt me or something" I said as he chuckled

"Right. Your the new student right?" He asked as I nodded "well welcome to Moonlight Academy. I sit a couple people from the back of you"

"Oh your in my class?" I asked as his expression went down "yea, is that a bad thing?" As I vigorously shook my head as he smiled

"Well, I hope we could be good friends. Baek Saelin" he said and left to go to his seat. I myself did the same thing and put in my earphones and listen to my music while looking outside the window.

'Every night is school, and in the morning is sleep and study...why could I be part of the day classes? Their might be some people who wouldn't scold me on my first day' I thought to myself and sighed.
